  1. I can totally see that it would be taken advantage of if they did it for other websites/stores but this was both things being sold by Amazon so I could just do the return and rebuy and it would cost them more money.
  2. Hope you feel better Ed. I just got off the phone with amazon because they would not refund me the price difference on two thermostats I bought 20 days ago because it was outside their 7 day window. Their tune changed a bit when I pointed out that I would just purchase two new ones and return the old ones (well in fact I'd return the new ones). I was granted a "one time" exemption. I guess I'll have to do the switch return in the future.
  3. Plus about 20k if I remember right. I think it was 50k or so.
  4. Congrats on the start of the build Vicki and it's cool that you're getting a bunch of updates. I'm pretty sure they'll happily take your money and do the logos painted on however you like (That's an option on Calfees).
  5. Happy birthday!
  6. This. Crappy weather today. Indoors all day.
  7. Jeff, want to ride together next Sunday morning? I pray that the weather is like today. I probably won't get out on the bike this weekend but getting out on the boat is better
  8. Congrats on the ride Brent! That bike looks awesome.
  9. Enjoy the ride Jeff. I'm taking my Giant with me to the lake house for a long Easter weekend.
  10. Nice! Any bike that you enjoy riding is nice! Thinking of buying a bunch of software for the Computrainer with the hope that it will encourage me to ride more in the early morning. I get to work for 6:15am though so it seems very early indeed.
  11. Good luck Larry. Hoping you recover quickly.
  12. Great news Dusty!
  13. Yup. Hills still suck but I am faster than when I was 260. As they say: "It never gets easier you just get faster"
  14. Good job stretch. I got past 200lbs myself this past weekend.
  15. Good luck with the goals Brent! They all look totally achievable but one thing I would add is "Have Fun!" because every time I "fall off the bike" (i.e. stop riding as much) it's because it's causing me more stress to try and meet whatever goal is on the horizon than it's worth to me.
  16. Higher cadence is easier to deal with accelerations and small hills etc. It is also easier on the knees. Go with what works
  17. Don't put too much pressure on yourself Jeff. Don't worry about RPM either way and ride what you find comfortable.
  18. Glad you enjoyed the ride Jeff. Race ready carbon bikes are the good stuff.
  19. Got in 2.5 hours this morning in the cold. It was suitably hard and I had leg cramps for the last half hour or so. Also cleared 200lbs this morning
  20. Jeff you are more than welcome to come over here and join the shop ride at 9 am. It is a no drop affair but does have significant amounts of climbing. Edit: great news Vicki
  21. Nice work Nate. Hoping to get out tomorrow morning. So stressed from work and busy helping my 7 month pregnant wife that I just have not been making the time to get out.
  22. Any of the Florida crew interested? Pay shipping and it's yours.
  23. That's a nice stand. The one I use works ok but now I wish I had seen that one. I'm not going to replace 6 of them now. Sorry Shelly

Are you guys being made whole or are you just getting refunded?
  25. Very nice Brent. Looks like a sweet bike. I think you know this but if you don't you should set the handlebars up so that the tops are parallel to the ground they are way turned down now.
