Not sure if you know the answer but I will give you a shot. I have a 3GS that has been with 3.1.3 installed. I would like to restore it before sending it to the purchaser to wipe everything off it but when I tried the option was to upgrade to 4.0. Is there a way to restore and reinstall 3.1.3?

They sell it in Gainesville, at Dorn's, Total Wine and various Whole Food locations. I bought the above at all three. I would love to be there. I have to be in Fort Myers Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. If Matt is still around, maybe we can meet there or Cock and Bull.

The best cases are usually slow to come since Apple doesn't release detailed specs until the last minute. I read an article somewhere that talked about how some of the early cases didn't work to well. I just ordered a Speakeasy Nude to try out.

It appears that I am having some trouble with the death grip. I dropped two calls with Jp, who was on a land line and I think it is a result of the way I was holding the phone. I will have my bumper next week but was hoping to go without a case.

Thanks everyone. It's been a great b'day weekend wit Jp in town. He needs to get his ass back here so we can do some scuba diving. Gail took me to The Pub for lunch and some cask Brew Dog Paradox and Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Family will be over later for Primanti Brothers Pizza, sandwiches and some other Italian stuff. Next up is to buy some ammo for the Seecamp .380 and listen to some 45 rpm Love Supreme from Vicki and Jp.

I've read that the phone doesn't choose the closest tower but the one with the least congestion.

The explanation really makes on sense to me. Having said that I have had no problems making a call. I just held my phone in the death grip, the signal strength went from 5 to 2 or 3 after about a minute, I kept holding it while I made a call. The call went through fine and the reception was clear. Maybe I'm lucky but it just hasn't been a problem for me. My area is pretty good for ATT coverage so that may be the reason.
