Woot! The Lambda Sigs are gone, but replaced by SR007mk1, so definitely a good trade IMO. Right now, I just have a millett max and Hafler DH-120 here, though I expect to get my E810F or D3A spud amp running between now and then. Only stupid 1/4" terminations on my stuff for now, though I dunno what Dusty has. Can spread out from my room if needed, we will make it work. I will also, you know, try and maybe clean up a bit (aka, throw all the crap I can into the closet). Woot, F5!

Yeah, those tend to be on the low side for heatsinking, and then to make it worse, they stuff the heatsinks inside the case, so no good way for the heat to escape.

I cant imagine the output filter on a tripath amp works too well into a 120ohm impedance load, considering that it is designed for probably 8ohm. No idea if there are other issues, but this is certainly one, especially since I am pretty sure the tripath amps dont include said filter within their feedback loop.

Yeah. I have the go ahead though to try different pads on it, and I have a spare set of O2 pads here. Should definitely help the bass out. Certainly feel free to bring other headphones. Sweet! The LCD2 is near the top of my want to hear list right now. Yeah, I kinda suspect that you will be disappointed by the bass on these. What is there is good, but its definitely not NoNoNoNoNoNo bass.

I could probably support a few people, but it would have to be a real minimeet, and only with people I know. As Dan and Justin can attest, I really dont have much space in my bedroom, and cant really spread out from there. Yeah, much more finished looking than the Canjam pair. Needs more bass. Dont get me wrong, the bass is good, but I would like more. Still prefer stuff like my SR007. Fark, those look promising! I agree that I am not wild on the headband, but the cups and pads look very promising. I wonder if they are just using the Jmoney denon pads for it? I am definitely going to have to hear this one, just hope it isnt too much more than the LCD-1.
