Mikey' crackers (rosemary, parsley and pepper) and his homemade mozzarella were both awesome. The other two cheeses were great too but the homemade touch was very cool. Claire makes a mean spaetzel and it went well worth sausages and kraut as always.

That's a whole lot of Santa events. Good luck being jolly after 60 or so.

Mayberry On Shrooms. No, this isn't an invitation for a meet or a group psychedelic experience, it is just some examples of what happens when it rains after many dry months. We're overrun with fungus and working in the yard I was struck by just how many places I noticed mushrooms popping up. Not award-winning photography and no post-production was done other than cropping, just something I found visually interesting.

Finished The Knick season 1. I liked it more and more as it got rolling and have recently read a couple of novels set in NYC in that time period so it was interesting to see the same themes on screen.

I appreciate the input guys. Battery life is not important to him Because he is able to plug in most of the time at school. I don't think I could sell him on a Mac and he has had numerous of them around to assess. And weight is not a huge issue although he may have to walk more/longer getting home next semester.

Sorry about the worries and the effects of same. Little daylight certainly can amplify the effects but at least you'll be up for all of it today. :-/
