  1. A little scary, there, Ric. Bourbon Flip? At Toronado for a couple beers and a sausage from next door. Watching Giants and following Sharks. Starting with Bombay by Boat on hand pump.
  2. Look for Dinny on the next episode of Monkeys Gone Wild! Here in Mayberry, I'm having an Aperol Spritz in the front yard preparing for tonight's SF Jazz show with Lavay Smith singing Patsy Cline. Should be fun.
  3. At what age do you become a full-grown nerd? Have a great one while you're still young. Cheers
  4. Damn that's a lot of beer people!
  5. It's almost like being there! Have fun guys and gal!
  6. Challenge accepted!
  7. Nice Dinster.
  8. You still waiting for the iPad 2?! While at lunch, I bought Alden this hot board game: And myself a few "essentials" X 3
  9. I definitely like the bitter element, but in its place.
  10. No DFH Hellhound on the guest brew list? Hoping to sample at the west coast release today at City Beer Store.
  11. At your service. *bows* I specifically did not use Punt y Mes because it is so bitter and I wanted a more standard vermouth flavor and I wanted this to be different from the Carthusian. I think that the Petrucchi would be good in the Greenpoint, and some would like Carpano but I think that might overpower the yellow chartreuse in equal parts.
  12. You, sir, be crazy!
  13. Greenpoint cocktail Similar but lighter and less intense than the Carthusian.
  14. Carthusian Cocktail using Marc's B&B recipe. Reminiscing.
  15. I'm sick of April, too, but my house is so soaked with water damage that it wouldn't even burn down.
  16. I'd better save this for a future slip-up.
  17. Nice avvy, t-lane!
  18. OK, one more. Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail. I almost went for the Parker 27 given Jim and Shelly having drams this week, but chose the Eagle Rare 17 instead. Tasty.
  19. Now drinking a Pegu Club from the Regan recipe. This is much better, but I continue to think Junipero gin does not work well in sours and some other kinds of cocktails. Anyway, here it is: Pegu Club 2oz gin 1oz triple sec (Cointreau) Dash angostura bitters Dash orange bitters Shake, double strain and garnish with lime peel.
  20. Nice Zombie Shelly. It really is s nice cocktail, just so many ingredients. The Leap Year cocktail I made a little while ago was not so good. Oh well.

Thanks Jin, that is cool. I guess I should check out RadioLab too.
  22. Do you prefer pink wookie noise or white wookie noise?
  23. He already does all if that stuff. We'd maybe have to change his name to Rex.
