There's a gang sign for the HeadAmp Pico? Respek.

  4. UE is lame if they don't announce it and get some mileage out of it. They also had some Triple Fi's and other stuff up for grabs, so you'd think they would like to make a little splash out of it.
  5. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. darkless!
  6. laxx is
  7. Did you see last night's Lost? Can you believe that is really and that ? Actually, I saw that one coming for a long time, even though my wife refused to believe me when I said that the guy . Now, if somebody really liked Lost and read all that shit before seeing the show, then they would be pissed at me and would not enjoy the show as much when they did watch it. Surely you see that Ric, right?
  8. On Demand has it if you are a cable dude.
  9. Me three. I've seen him twice but more is better. Why Phoenix - Atlanta only? Tom's explanation: Aside from the guiding forces from above, Tom further explained the routing choice by saying:
  10. You old softie! Nice thing you did.
  11. Send them to Jena Labs.
  12. I think this is Ray's best-sounding portable by far, and a very nice amp. Mine was free, so not overpriced at all.
  13. It is absolutely lust-worthy. It is an all-rounder that can really drive an amazing array of cans beautifully. DEW EET!!! The other TTVJ/Millett offerings are being built by Todd, who was a solder tech at a high end and/or military electronics job before HeadRoom and TTVJ. Maybe these are different. Did Pete or Todd tell you that Pete was making these monsters himself?
  14. Glad you're getting them fixed for a reasonable amount Stephen. Slum with the Senns in the meantime!
  15. Now go away before we taunt you a second time!
  16. Just saw this thread for the first time. Damn that sucks! Glad the surgery went well, and best of luck with the recovery.
  17. Congrats, but . . . Seeing as I got the treatment yesterday [admittedly by others], it seemed only fair! Tell us what you think of the Cutie. Kinda getting dissed.
  18. ^^^Me too, Dusty, although the bottom one is my fave. I could actually hear the 4070s "loosening" a bit during the first few hours. I was comparing them to the O2s that are on their way to Deepak today. At first, the 4070 seemed more muted than the O2 -- and for me that is saying something. But they opened up over time and sounded more like what I recalled from Wayne's pair and the ones I heard at CanJam. I am very happy and can now have a wife-approved e-stat bedside rig! More impressions more later.
  19. I hadn't specified who was stalker and who was stalkee.
  20. Stalker!
  21. Don't listen to the bad man, Flipper, it can't be true!
  22. Definitely up for a mini-meet and JP has thrown around my name connected to a late summer larger meet. Not sure when would be a good time for a meet, but let's try to figure something out. If I am hosting, Mayberry will be more available through mid-June, then SF will be more available. Plus, we should get to a game. I would be happy to invite you to a Giants game if you can manage to stomach a National League game.
  23. Stupid kid being happy to get Slinky Dog and Slinky Bug for her birthday.
  24. Thanks David. I should have cropped that one in a bit, but the color of the wall in our dining room creates a nice gear back-drop. I am enjoying the 4070s right now, although it is the first couple hours of playing time. Is there burn-in with electrostats? Never thought of that before. The Woo Audio GES prototype I have on loan makes them sound better than the 007t, which kinda bums me out because I like the small form factor and balanced inputs on the Stax amp. It never ends...
