  1. That's actually George Michael.
  2. If I can gauge this by the person whose new works I am the most excited to read, then it's wither Terry Pratchett or Salman Rushdie. Kind of depends on my mood, as you can imagine.
  3. If one were to come to this meet... what airport would one fly in to from Denver? As it turns out, I like the meets more than the headphones
  4. That, or his immediate proximity to wine country.
  5. This is what it feels like to lose my religion...
  6. What film was God using?
  7. I am unrepentant.
  8. I also prefer the first. It has the least yellow, and the contrast I most prefer. It looks like it also has the saturation cranked somewhat, though, so while it's not the most natural to my eyes it IS my favorite. #2 seems to have a green push, which makes it look sickly to me. #4 is the most natural, to my eyes. That said, all of our monitors are likely calibrated differently. I use mine to edit photos occasionally, so I tried to calibrate it as close to neutral as I could.

  12. As far as I'm concerned, he's hooking a brother up.
  13. Please introduce me to this female friend of yours who enjoys inbetweens.
  14. I'm not sure on this point either, but Jerry estimates that they will last 4-5 for most users, and who am I to argue with the man?
  15. That review seemed really rushed, with uncharacteristically poor transitions for Steve. I didn't disagree with any of it, perse, but I've read better from him.
  16. That advice goes double for pr0n.
  17. :jbl::jbl: Why it just so happens you're my new best friend. Sorry I called you old
  18. Oh, if 17-year-old Dusty could hear you now...

  20. Even the smallest Pass X-series is at least 15 watts of class A, and I doubt you'd push more than 15 watts through that rig at any given point, so I am wholly in agreement with you. Also, missed the digital. This guy knows what's up.
  21. Well it's not like I could have said "mature"
  22. Birgir: Snorri is my wife's favorite writer as well. She has a certificate in Icelandic sagas, and we used to talk about how wonderful a system it was where you could kill a man so long as you left your axe so everyone knew it was you. On a side note, Mevlana Rumi does not get my vote.
  23. Hey old people: Why invent all this stuff and then bitch about how it exists? Thanks for the internet, though.
  24. Of course. One would hate to miss out on those stunning 120 dB peaks...
  25. Those look like big Pass X250s driving those magicos. Since the sub is powered, that man is using oodles of Pass watts to drive a series of compression horns that are probably 90+ dB efficient, even with the crossover. It is, in effect, like strapping a rocket on a jet. Awesome.
