That should be "Temporarily pointless sign", as the temporarily modifies 'pointless', not the sign.

 

On an unrelated note, this photo was posted in my stream, and was not in any way intended humorously or ironically.  That said, that is exactly what I'm doing:

The sign looks temporary to me...
