August 20, 200817 yr Why, are they heartier because they spend so much of their life shivering? More muscle mass? More fat?
August 20, 200817 yr x2 -- there's really nothing like fresh fish. Arctic Char? Similar but more delicate than salmon.
August 20, 200817 yr and there's no fish quite like an alaskan salmon A buddy of mine went up there last week with some of his buddies and they rented a fishing boat. I got 10 lbs king, 10 lbs silver salmon, and 7 lbs halibut.
August 20, 200817 yr king is best for canning. Red salmon is BY FAR the best for eating. But it's pretty late for reds.
August 21, 200817 yr I thought Copper River was the best. Ahh so much for the fish market sales pitch I guess.
August 21, 200817 yr Author Well, I didn't knwo if you essentially make a ham and cheese sandwich, then dip the entire thing, or if you essentially make french toast, with ham and cheese.
August 21, 200817 yr You don't make french toast, because only the outside of the bread is dipped in egg. You're supposed to dip the whole sandwich, but unless you're deep frying it, you'll end up with raw egg, which I avoid, so I just dip the outsides But the effect is french toast ham and cheese sandwich.
August 21, 200817 yr pork chops with sticky fingers bbq sauce rice w/ butter and pepper fresh maryland sweet corn on the cob
August 22, 200817 yr Is not good? I've been meaning to try that place, I tend to like sandwich places...oh, well, guess I'll indefinitely postpone it. PS Me: candy. I should have some porridge or something. Maybe I'll have some faux-Rice Crispies.
