Yeah I assume KG is referring to my apl 3910 in which case I agree the build quality of the actual mods is of much higher quality on the modwright.

How's the build of the actual transport (solid/flimsy/other)? I remember reading/seeing that MW did some dampening to the transport and maybe some other mods.

For Sony it's actually pretty solid you can see the dampening MW adds in this pic:

I've got no idea what those silver little blocks are but that's the only dampening going on that I can see.

I kinda doubt it, outside of the modded Transporter most of Dan's focus is on his own line of gear.

Gongrats on the Modwright. I have owned two on different occasions and enjoyed them alot. For a large and positive improvment on the player(although costly) try either the Bedix 6900 or GE7044 tubes.

I think so too. They are mostly used for balancing wheels after installing new tires. The Modwright definitely is the most interesting use I've ever seen made of them.
