August 25, 200917 yr comment_270061 Thanks Stretch. As a total sucker for bent ply, I think I need a couple of those in walnut. Report
August 25, 200917 yr comment_270064 Huh those are damn nice... but 99 euros a pop is rough as well ;p Still.. hrmm... agh I need to buy tubes though. Report
August 25, 200917 yr comment_270075 I want one for my ikea jerker, even though I don't even have a real headphone rig anymore. Report
August 25, 200917 yr comment_270090 Mods, please take count of members responding favorably to said funky stands and ban their asses post haste! Actually I think they're quite cool myself. I've thought about making a steamer and some jigs for similar designs before. Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270165 I'm serious with my question about how to order. I cannot figure it out from randomly clicking on links. Any German speakers who can tell me if there is an ordering page? Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270172 Al, Try this link- Da capo Schallplatten They sell the headphone stand direct and have an english version, upper right hand of front page. good luck! Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270174 Ooops! The english tab does not seem to work. Go to the left hand lower part of the page and click on "Zubehor", pick the wood you want, Zebra, Walnut, Cherry. Click on the shopping cart on the right side, then click on the English tab in the upper right hand corner........... Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270301 I saw a very similar design elsewhere. I forget where. This is way too much. I love it, but way too much. P.S. - my birthday is in mid-November guys, thanks! Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270350 For a one off design that wouldn't be at all overpriced IMO. Setting up jigs, steaming wood and laminating the veneers is labor intensive. However for a mass produced product, where the jigs are already in place, it does seem a bit high. Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270357 Can we bend wood in a microwave? I think I read that somewhere. I'll google it later. Report

August 26, 200917 yr comment_270360 You're paying for the style man.... That's exactly what the salesman at Nieman Marcus told me, when he tried to get me to buy Versace lace boxer briefs for men, to the tune of $125.00 per pair. Needless to say, my boys ain't never spent a day in lace! Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270362 That's exactly what the salesman at Nieman Marcus told me, when he tried to get me to buy Versace lace boxer briefs for men, to the tune of $125.00 per pair. Needless to say, my boys ain't never spent a day in lace! You were looking at lace Versace boxer briefs? Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270366 You were looking at lace Versace boxer briefs? No, I was looking at pants IIRC, that was back in '93. But you have had occasion to deal with a clothing clerk at a high end retailer, have you not? The fact that you're not in the market for mens underware is neither here nor there. You'd have to be the worlds best saleman to get me to wrap the boys in lace. To wrap them in lace and give you $125.00, not gonna happen. Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270401 What's the German word for "funky"?Babelfish say, "Flippig". Any real Germans want to confirm/deny? Report
August 26, 200917 yr comment_270481 Make sure it has nails in it and of course send before and after pictures See link below. I told you so! However, the method works for only for small pieces, apparently. I don't know what qualifies as small in this case. Google Report
