LMD was better known for her punk rock and no wave efforts, but on her debut album in 1979 she did a disco cover of Arthur Brown's "Fire." Uncharacteristic though it may be, her rework is absolutely killer. She substitutes Arthur's famous burning horns for a tousled mop of hair (that drove at least one YouTube commenter nuts, click through to see) and what looks like a marching band uniform.
