  1. Yesterday
  2. One use of three Pioneer R2Rs. More performance art, but still fun.
  3. Needs one of these for completeness
  4. When one of my favorite, faaarrr from perfect, quirky, no one should buy in 2025, cameras shows up in a new article... https://petapixel.com/2025/08/14/the-retro-styled-nikon-df-dslr-was-both-behind-and-ahead-of-the-times/ Mine, unfortunately, didn't come with a pocket watch.
  5. Certainly a time capsule.
  6. Very local South African tune. The singer was my high school headmaster's son. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  7. Last week
  8. New to me, excellent sound quality and performance. I need to get this on vinyl.
  9. Not great, not bad, enjoyeable. Good to see the violaist getting love. They're like the bass guitarists of classical music.
  10. This is peak Gen Z humor, I assure you.
  11. Untamed (Netflix). I enjoyed it. Short, to the point, didn’t overstay its welcome. I’m honestly a little surprised the critical consensus on this one wasn’t more positive.
  12. Human Universe by Hayato Sumino (2024) https://album.link/zbtbf0kvjxt5q Example: Good debut on Sony. A mix of Originals and Classical works, example is original. He only has a couple of major works under his belt so far. Known on the internet for his version of the Cadenza in Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody #2.
  13. Simple morning bake, wheat and oat flour. {just needed some bread}
  14. I won that race. Where's my trophy?
  15. RIP Sheila Jordan
  16. I’m not much of a sports guy, so probably behind the times, but there’s sperm racing now? https://www.spermracing.com/races (ā€œrace videoā€) ā€œhow the race works: we've designed a microscopic racetrack that mimics the reproductive system—chemical signals, fluid dynamics, synchronized starts. high-resolution cameras track every microscopic move. it's all live-streamed, complete with stats, leaderboards, and instant replays. the winner? the sperm that crosses the finish line first, verified by advanced imaging. the stakes have never been smaller—or bigger.ā€
  17. Thanks Knucks, great shots.
  18. ^^ I think I have this on physical media somewhere....but much of it is in boxes so not 100% sure. I just have to say, too: when Sinead O'Connor smiled, it made me want to smile......
  19. Final batch. This isn't all of them, but it's beyond my ability to xref which ones I've posted before at this point. If you really require more roverhub, check this tag. Gratuitous bork: Probably my favorite photo of the day. I did a bunch of interior shots, a number of which were marred by the damn lens hood being askew, and others flawed with lighting issues. This one actually nails it. No one mentions "bokeh" when talking about Canon EF 14-40mm F/4 superwide zoom, but the fact of the matter is that it handles OOF highlights very well.
