What a split legacy! Loved the comic, hated his political views. Still....RIP.....

Dilbert was absolutely brilliant. RIP Scott Adams. Edit: Just read the link and found that Mr Adams was a Trump supporter. I guess he wasn't as brilliant as his comic strip.
-
^^ was this suppose to be in the Analysis thread?

‘Dilbert’ creator Scott Adams dies at 68. He, uh, made some comic strips in the 90s that resonated with office workers.

My favourite discovery of 2025 is Kardi, mostly because of this insanely under-rated powerhouse of a singer. I haven't heard them do songs like these two (I'll post the other one in another thread), before, respect.

So have a quick/short vacation possibly coming up and although have been nearby previously (GC, Bryce, Zion, etc.), we've not done the John Ford wet dream yet. Researching now, but anyone have any suggestions of specific buttes, mesas, petroglyphs, or other sites to visit? Even a preference between the two areas? Driving our rough & tumble Mini Countryman, so everything is on the table.

Double Vision by Foreigner (1978) https://open.qobuz.com/album/0603497923533 (looks like Songlink does not really work anymore) Example: I remember this being a harder album with Double Vision and Hot Blooded. But it has a lot of delicate and subtle ballads, like example. Enjoyable album, I thought this was in the 80's, but I am remembering Foreigner 4.

So...yes and no. I wouldn't say it moved further than the book, so much as...expanded everything -- character development of every single character, the detail of side quests, the cinematography, &c. You got some necessary updates, but also TV shows have to do TV show things, so every cast member has to be in every episode (mostly). At least, for the duration of the story arc. It has gotten quite meandery, and somewhat slightly bloated. At least it doesn't fall into the trap of Westworld, where it gets so abstract I'm not sure what the intention was. And yes, Ian McShane gets to sing in one episode again, just like he did in that one episode of Deadwood.

How are you liking it? I stopped sometime in season one as I got distracted by life, but should rewatch and get caught up. Where are they at in the story line season 3? Have they moved on further from the book at this point?

Thank you everyone.

My wife watches QVC all the time. I avoid the living room when it's on. Kind of like what she does if a car show is on. Which isn't very often. Good news is she never buys anything.
