  1. High 60s with a slight breeze, so a perfect day to get out. Took the kids and met up with roomie, her daughter, and my buddy and his daughter and went to the big park near us. Threw a Frisbee, hung out, got some pizza, and threw some more Frisbee. I'm ready for a nap, but had a great time. **BRENT**

  3. It was... a nice way to end my short weekend (have worked 12 of previous 13 days... which is a LOT for me.) It felt good to get out and run around. I should have charged up the new Fitbit, though; Jeff won't believe I did anything but take a nap without documentation. **BRENT**

  4. I'm pretty sure there was a fever on the first day or two (when I had the chills). But I also distinctly felt it "break" (I don't remember when, now, but you know how when you start sweating profusely -- just a drenching sweat -- and you can't drink enough water, and then -- just as 'all of a sudden' -- it's gone).

  5. Just got notification that mine will be here on the 5th, which is nice surprise since I was only hoping it would arrive near the beginning of the May 13-27th timeframe I was given. I also ordered the Jaybirds, so Tuesday will be new toy day

  6. Thanks to the NYC Spring Meet yesterday, I was motivated to finish casing up my KGST. I'm very happy with the result. The chassis is 7" x 12.8". Perfect for my night table Here's the beast in it's intended home: Still need to do the finish and put a respectable knob on it. Here's the back of the amp. Because of the size I wanted to use a single 5 pin mini xlr. Had to build a cable as well. I Put the DAC behind the night table to keep a clean look. I'm just spent the last couple of hours listening and just love it.

  7. Dropped the Calfee off for final assembly and setup. Calfee Tetra Pro, Ksyrium SSC wheels, ultegra 6800 group w/ compact crank, vintage sells turbo saddle and Shimano mtb pedals.

  8. Nicely done! I rode to work today. It was exceptional out this morning. Temps in the mid 50s, no wind, etc. This afternoon I'm looking at a 15mph headwind (a theme this year so far) and temps in the mid 80s. Mother nature is killing me.

  9. I've been drinking lots of orange juice, should probably drink some just plain water, but at least I've lightened up on the tea (diuretic); for the most part, have been getting rest, except for Friday night -- coughing kept me up, and didn't want to fry my liver/kidneys/whatever as a result of taking too much meds, but seem to be caught up now; And yeah, took a detour with some comfort food (Chinese), going to go back to chicken soups for the duration; and yes, I've been taking lots of cold-eeze (Zinc). Thanks.

  11. I am relatively better (today, than yesterday, for example, and certainly better than last Monday/Tuesday), just not all better. I'll take it.

  13. Rented the Nikon 24-70mm over the weekend. Suppose I must buy one sooner than later.

  14. Moved half my daughter's stuff from CU Boulder to home, and the rest comes home after finals next week. Brought mother-in-law to a nice place for lunch for her birthday, with my wife and above daughter.

  16. Decided it was time for me to join the 21st century so I bought myself a carbon full suspension bike with carbon/aluminum wheels. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up in the hospital by the end of the year, this bike just begs to be ridden at ludicrous speed on every downhill.
