  2. The One A woman meets a man in a bar. They talk; they connect; they end up leaving together.. They get back to his place, and as he shows her around his apartment. she notices that one wall of his bedroom is completely filled with soft, sweet, cuddly teddy bears. There are three shelves in the bedroom, with hundreds and hundreds of cute, cuddly teddy bears carefully placed in rows, covering the entire wall! It was obvious that he had taken quite some time to lovingly arrange them and she was immediately touched by the amount of thought he had put into organizing the display. There were small bears all along the bottom shelf. Medium-sized bears covering the length of the middle shelf. And huge, enormous bears running all the way along the top shelf. She found it strange for an obviously masculine guy to have such a large collection of Teddy Bears, She is quite impressed by his sensitive side. But doesn't mention this to him. They share a bottle of wine and continue talking and, after awhile, she finds herself thinking, 'Oh my God! Maybe, this guy could be the one! Maybe he could be the future father of my children?' She turns to him and kisses him lightly on the lips. He responds warmly. They continue to kiss, the passion builds. And he romantically lifts her in his arms and carries her into his bedroom. Where they rip off each other's clothes and make hot, steamy love. She is so overwhelmed that she responds with more passion, more creativity, more heat than she has ever known. After an intense, explosive night of raw passion with this sensitive guy, they are lying there together in the afterglow. The woman rolls over, gently strokes his chest and asks coyly, 'Well, how was it?' The guy gently smiles at her, strokes her cheek, looks deeply into her eyes, and says: 'Help yourself to any prize from the middle shelf.'

  3. If I was into hardware synths, I'd be drooling over that one (watched some cool sounding reviews). A guy I know picked up one of the new(ish) Novation Summits and he loves it (and he's got a big selection of analog and modulars in his shed). This would be a great year to go to NAMM!

  5. Well, I use some old DIY T2 supplies for all my amplifiers. For LV and filament transformer I have the following windings 15V + 15V / 0.5A (center tap) 6.3V / 4A 6.3V / 4A 6.3V / 1.5A 6.3V / 1.5A You don’t want to use same winding for small and output tubes. Separate windings for channels. So total four filament windings. Demands for HV is 60mA for output stage and 20mA for input. With +220V supply you I suggest 195V/0,06A 320V/0.18A 365V/0.18A \\135VA Without +220V supply, feeding input positive via 20k power resistor, I suggest 320V/0.24A 365V/0.18A \\143VA Calculations are based on 50V headroom and current factor of three (some builders may want another factor). Reservation for errors!

  7. I've had the Aero for a couple of weeks. I enjoy it for a relatively quick cup but pour over (Kalita 185) just tastes better to me. I found some tasty methods recently from this (recipes at the bottom) Linkey

  10. Old Musicians Never Die. They Just Become Holograms. “But here’s the headline,” Shapiro went on. “Look at who’s gone, just in the last couple of years: Bowie, Prince, Petty. Now look who’s still going but who’s not going to be here in 10 years, probably, at least not touring: the Stones, the Who, the Eagles, Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Elton John, McCartney, Springsteen. That is the base not just of classic rock but of the live-music touring business. Yes, there’s Taylor Swift, there’s Ariana Grande. But the base is these guys.” https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/07/magazine/hologram-musicians.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share
