I like JBL speakers and I like to watch Kenry's videos but honestly I don't see any sense installing speakers of that size in rooms of a small size.2 points

Finished up Ken Burns' Country Music. I wouldn't say it made me any more of a country fan, I but I do have have new appreciation for the effort, craft, showmanship and musicianship. It is well done. I learned a lot. Two artists who impressed me were Vince Gill and Dolly Parton. Vince's songwriting and musicianship clicks with me. He is a little more cerebral than some of his peers without going too far. As for Dolly, I've always been put off by her appearance but after hearing her story and her songs I'll admit... the woman is a capital-S STAR. Really impressed by her. The fact that she isn't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while clowns like Bon Jovi are is a complete joke. As for the old warhorses, the music of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams never gets old.2 points

Keeping my Phoebe Waller-Bridge obsession going, if anyone wants to see an encore simulcast (in a movie theater near you) of the one-woman show that started Fleabag ... http://ntlive.nationaltheatre.org.uk/productions/ntlout37-fleabag1 point

I was using Crashplan, but they keep adding file types (such as virtual machines and backup files) they will no longer back up. I still like SpiderOak.1 point

Because of the power intensity of data centres, and the cost of noisy air conditioners for cooling them, there are very serious studies to build them in the bottom of lakes and the sea - the water is cold and becomes the cooling. Which removes the air conditioning entirely. And makes them quiet. And inherently secure too.1 point

Not sure about listening to speakers that are 6 feet off the floor - but they seem to work. Rey Audio WARP-5 Kind of like a deconstructed klipschorn, reverse the horn and add lots of woofers (non-barking type) (designed in 1984)1 point
