Maybe. Guess it feels a little weak or unnatural, maybe not as full as I would like. Perhaps there is some recessed midrange that is making me feel this way though. As far as closed headphones go, I think it is actually pretty good. I don't think it is worth getting over a pair of JH13 though. KGSS for 4070 GS-1 for JH13

I have had Al's pair of 4070's for over a week now (thanks again Al!). First off, I have had a heck of a time getting a fit. (The weight was fine however.) The only way that I can get any kind of "seal" is if I angle the headband towards the back of my head or use my hands to push the pads against my head. Obviously, both of these situations are not optimal so you should probably ignore anything I say from now on. Basically, the cans just aren't doing anything for me. I've spent some time, going back and forth listening to 4070s and the JH13s. There is just really no comparison (for me). The 4070s are technically pretty good, except maybe for the bass, but when I put on the JH13's, it is like I walked into the room where the music is playing instead of listening in the hall. I am sure that a lot of this has to do with the bad fit so, again, please ignore everything I am saying. This exercise has been interesting. It has made me think that maybe I really should be getting a pair of JH16+3A (and keeping the JH13s for portable use of course). Hmmmmmm.

Ken: Glad to hear you are enjoying them. The stock cable is a real PITA especially if you are putting your head forward. I don't mind the weight and the clamping is just perfect for me (most other cans fall off my head). So don't stretch them out with your big fat head! I hope to be able to make it to the Dallas meet in January but have know idea what my schedule will look like for that weekend at this point. I will definitely bring the LCD-2 if I go.

Manning also has Reggie Wayne to throw to (who is projected to get a whopping 29 points by espn!). If Wayne get anywhere near 29 points tomorrow, I am probably in trouble.

Jeff: I think I had the camera on all auto/factory settings, hence the high iso. I haven't had much time to play around with it yet. I'll have to find out if I can change the brightness of the screen, I think it is supposed to auto adjust, don't know about manual adjustments. I was just looking at comments on the LX3 and there seem to be some complaints about the screen brightness.

I got the LX5 yesterday and it is really nice for a P&S, very fast. However, I am concerned with the LCD screen right now. The colors seem to be very inaccurate (much brighter) on the screen... much brighter than in the jpg and in real life. For example, yesterday I took this picture. [The beer is a lot more "red" than I remember it being in real life but that could have been my fault.] Here is what is looks like through the ZS3 LCD (taken on D90): without flash with flash Here is what is looks like through the LX5 LCD (taken on D90): without flash with flash I am wondering if this is just because the LCD is really bright or if my camera is defective (and I should send it back). Haven't really seen many people complaining about this.
