  1. Damn, how did I miss this? If anyone sees an Apple ipad case, could you please purchase it and send it to me, please, pretty please? (I would of course cover the costs of case and shipping and I would love you forever). I keep checking my local store and they are always out when I call. I ordered one from apple.com a week ago but it is not supposed to get here until May 29th.

These = Hattori FH, obviously Greg. Seriously, I guess the FH-6 (Gyuto 210mm, Cutting edge length: 210mm Total Length: 340mm Blade Thickness: 2mm Total Weight: 175g) might be better for me since I am used to a smaller knife.
  3. But they are so small.

Looking at knives a couple a weeks ago, I came across these. If you could have just one, would you say FH-6 or FH-8? I do sharpen my CC often - maybe too often.

Also not a fan (of serrated). I cannot get my husband to stop tearing up the meat with serrated knives. I think I should throw them all away at some time. Wish I had better knives in the house.... just a bunch of various Chicago Cutlery Santoku knives mostly. :'( I should look into getting some new ones.

    That sucks Jabob!
  8. Thanks.
  9. Woke up sick with a terrible sore throat.
  10. Great town. I always enjoy getting a beer and (1/2) muffuletta sandwich from Central Grocery and eating it by the river.
  11. Porcupine Tree - Voyage 34
  12. For those of you who use the iteleport or some other vnc program to connect to a Mac with two monitors, I found a program called SwitchResX that allows you to easily disable one of your monitors (without having to unplug). I often run computations on the Mac Pro in my office (which has two 20" monitors) from home and this helps out a lot. I don't know why I didn't search for something like this before.
  13. Damn, I need to turn the auto-capitalization and correction off on the ipad... evidentally "moar" become "Mose" otherwise.
  14. Sorry Stephen.
  15. Does that make the music sound moar better?
  16. Happy 21st Birthday!!!
  17. Nate, I assumed that they would be shipped from the US (they are shipping ground and are estimated to be here on Monday). Could there still be transaction fees? Edit: I guess I should have read the fine print when using the "newweb" coupon: Your first order shipped FREE*! We're making it more attractive than ever to become a new Elusive Disc, Inc. customer! When you are ready to checkout, type the code "NEWWEB" in the promotional code field at the top of the Shopping Basket Page AND hit the Submit button. (See Example of our Shopping Basket Page pictured below.) When you get to the shipping selection page, USPS Priority Mail will automatically be selected as your shipping method and will show a cost of $0.00*. (We reserve the right to ship your order via another method, please see *Rules & Regulations below). Free shipping to be determined between UPS Domestic Ground Service and U.S. Media or Priority Mail at Elusive Disc, Inc.'s discretion.
  18. Stax 404LE - shipped* today. Seems like I maybe got the last pair (?) at elusive disc since they are now listed as out of stock. *Kinda pissed at Elusive Disk though. I requested usps priority (which was free) and they sent it out UPS. Hopefully it gets here since I gave them the downtown PO Box address that we are supposed to use for USPS at work, but not for UPS.
  19. I am well aware that I am on my way to stat junkie... deep breaths....
  20. KGSS from Stretch (sorta - at least it is a purchase in progress). Hmmm, now I just need a stat can. I am thinking 404LE until I can save up for a 4070/OII...
  21. Wow, that is exciting. Good luck.
  22. I would take flavored Tootsie Rolls for breakfast over Dunkin Donuts anyday
  23. Happy Birthday Ari! Hope it's a great one!
