  1. You don't really need "the best" to enjoy music. I'd give up all my headphones and listen to earbuds if I could bring Tim back. It's good that McKenna is doing better - I agree with Brent that I'd rather deal with pain myself than watch a loved one go through it.
  2. Beef cheeks with salsa de pasilla. They were excellent - I'm not sure why I hadn't had these before.
  3. Google is your friend http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/headamp2/pico_2.html
  4. For some reason, I don't think I would be the best company right now.
  5. WANT!!!! Why have I never had this before? I do live in TX!
  6. I approve of Ric's post
  7. I wouldn't have guessed that ramen could go back, I supposed there is oil in it though.
  8. Binge rewatching New Girl
  9. Happy belated birthday
  10. I'll let her know about that. I think she is happy just having a browser for now.
  11. Good, perhaps our housing market will get under control so I don't have to pay as much in property taxes.
  12. My niece really loves her new Chromebook. It also looks really nice (like a real laptop).
  13. Happy 2015
  14. Happy Birthday Jacob!
  15. Happy Birthday Ken!
  16. Merry Christmas to all of HC. Appreciate every second you have with your loved ones.
  17. Happy Birthday Ric!
  18. Peter said it best. Life is precious.
  19. So sorry to hear about Larry and his daughter.
  20. At some point, I used MacPorts to install Xournal but that was years ago. I wonder if I still have it on my machine in the office. I haven't used homebrew. I shall investigate both.
  21. You made it yourself? Cool!
  22. Sorry Haj and Brent.
  23. I don't know about XQuartz and Yosemite but I can let you know if I I try it. I will mostly just be using X11/xterm and Inkscape though. Jim: I have XQuartz on my other computers, that I downloaded a while ago. I just wanted to confirm that macosforge doesn't allow malicious activity on its site like sourceforge (and other download sites). It's probably fine. As for sourceforge, it seems they sometimes bundle honest software with adware/bloatware using their installer (perhaps this is for Windows only though). They also allow malicious ads.
