i've never owned a car myself. i've never asked for one either. sure it'd be nice to have one, but i mean, i don't need need one. in the future, when i'm done with residency, i'll buy one if i need it. if public transportation is fine, then i'll use that instead.

i hear you. personally what i'd be more interested in is if there was some way to use these etys without having them stick straight out of your ears. it bothers the fuck out of me when i'm lying down and using them. but obviously that's not possible because the design isn't the same as the shures and ues. meh

In all honesty, however, the best headphones that I've used for metal are the ER-4's. Well I guess their earphones, but that's besides the point. The clarity and speed of the etys sure do kick some ass with metal.

I'm still a firm believer that the best headphones for metal that i have ever heard were the 650s. I have not heard the HP-2 or the L3000, so I can't comment on those, but for me, the slightly veiled, laid-back nature of the HD650's really did it for me with death metal. The Grados were way too fatiguing and the visceral nature of their sound made me want to kill myself, but the softness of the 650s did magic for me with metal. I found the sound to be significantly more rewarding.

The Pats could easily send out their second string offense and still win this game, but no, Belichick still has his first string on going for more points. The problem is Belichick, who is an absolute stain on the face of the NFL and he is poor for the sport of American football.
