  1. Mike, sorry about your Mom. Glad she's feeling better! Bryan, Good luck with your case analysis! In my field, analysis means something entirely different!
  2. Happy B day! Wishing you a Collector's Edition Full Boxed Set of Styx.
  3. Agree that Swype is great! I also prefer it to any miniature phone keyboards. Have had a My Touch 4G a week or two now and quite like it. Battery life has been an issue, but found that Juice Defender and k9 Mail have helped a lot.
  4. Synology DS211j, the cheapskate model. About a month ago. Happy.
  5. Happy Birthday!
  6. Shelly, if you have trouble finding the Two Brothers, let me know. Easy to get around here, I can get some for you.
  7. Jim, what will you use as your source for the xda-1?
  8. Hey, leave that to the professionals. This forum is only very strange, not very, very strange. It takes years of training to know this.
  9. Happy Birthday! I hope I age as gracefully as you!
  10. Damn! Nice DAC, Jim! Grawk, thanks for doing all the footwork and buying all those glencairns!!!!
  11. Congrats Al! Quite the deal! Congrats Vicki! Interested in your impressions, since I have the A 2 now and have the same feelings for them. Liveable but not inspiring.
  12. Heh. Noticed that, wondered what people would say.. We'll see! Reminds me that a buddy of mine had mentioned once that he and some friends had talked about doing a road trip through Kentucky to do a Bourbon distillery tour. Anyone ever do this?
  13. Slightly off topic, but Anne got this for me for V Day:
  14. So far a pretty nice one. But eats through batteries like nobody's business.
  15. Can the HDs be different sizes with each method?
  16. MyTouch 4G . Free upgrade Valentines Day sale.
  17. If you replace the HD yourself, what's the easiest way to get the contents of old HD to new HD, including the OS?
  18. Good luck with both !
  19. Miles Davis. Kind of Blue. Trying to get this in my son's ear while he plays video games.
  20. Gould: A Consort of Musicke Bye Byrd and Gibbons
  21. Sorry to hear it, CJ!
  22. Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. Pope For I must tell you that we artists cannot tread the path of Beauty without Eros keeping company with us and appointing himself as our guide. Mann Greater than the tread of mighty armies is an idea whose time has come. Hugo Most safely shall you tread the middle path. Ovid

Two more fun shots: My alley. Saw this in the hospital parking lot this AM. Don't think they're going home any time soon!

Heh. Cute didn't exactly come to mind. More like, 'Holy Fuck, this is gonna take me hours!' And, 'thank god I don't have a driveway!' But it was really good exercise shoveling the front walkway, and the exit to our garage in the back alleyway four separate times as the city kept plowing the alleyway snow back onto our garage. No, the pugs have not enjoyed this winter. And I haven't enjoyed all the poop inside the house from the dramatic increase in 'accidents'. Sorry for all the lost opportunities for learning!

I'll add a few 'too much snow pics' for good measure. I was told this was the first school closing for our high school in over 30 years!
