Cool! I like Thich Nhat Hanh. Read a bunch of his books, saw him give a lecture once. Though I couldn't hear a word he said, since he was so soft spoken, and the large hall wasn't properly amplified. Were you up here, though? We should've given you a proper HC Chicago visit! Though admittedly, our usual HC visits are not very meditative. Well, I guess they are, but not in that way. Eh, I probably couldn't have gotten away from kid activities and work this weekend, any way, so I shouldn't even talk. But I hope you had a great visit! That was my old 'hood from my college days! That sounds interesting. I just signed up for a study on Trascendental Meditation with our academic affiliate next door. They plan on teaching doctors TM to see if it can reduce burnout and improve quality of life. Funny thing is, I may not qualify for the study, because I don't have the required 1 1/2 hours free time in each of the four days needed to get the orientation to the TM class. Oh well.
