  1. Yeah, KG, I'll take your over 6 months old supply of scotch or any other whiskey off your hands for you! I'll even drive over and pick it up to make it easy for you!
  2. Happy belated Bday!
  3. Good stuff. The banjo player, Noam, is the son of my wife's former colleague at Cook County Hospital Ambulatory Care. He's a nice, though slightly neurotic and obsessive Jewish guy who used to drive his son across town to the Chicago Old Town School of Folk Music for banjo lessons. He would also drive him all over the state while his son won all kinds of banjo playing contests and awards. Some say he's the best banjo player in the world.
  4. Happy birthday!
  5. I'd like one, but I don't want to have to charge it every night.
  6. Happy Bday Seed Lady! Very cool cake!
  7. Those Apsara are beautiful amps!
  8. Have you tried both the Chrome version and the Mac app version? I've had better luck with each, depending on various factors.
  9. Good lord, Greg! What a fabulous meal!
  10. For me, it skips often on Android when playing hi-fi, whether I'm streaming, or have had it downloaded already. When set to high quality I have no problems. At home on my Mac mini, I do not have a problem getting hifi. However, I do sometimes get the message saying there are streaming problems and I should switch to high quality. However this is not audible and it plays fine in hi-fi in spite of getting that message sometimes. I did have a lot of problems getting Amara SQ to work properly without skipping. I finally did get it to work, but only after updating to the newest version, and it only works on the installed app and not when using Chrome. I got so angry with all the problems I almost gave up. However, I will say that now that it's working well, it really does sound great. Good luck Antonio! I hope things work out for you, because if it does, it really is worthwhile.

  18. No clue you could even check your usage! I'll have to look into that... it's a little frightening though!
  19. Does Comcast have a cap?
  20. I love oxtail! My mom makes a nice oxtail stew for the holidays. I've never had it in soup, but it looks great!
  21. Agree they need to improve their catalogue and search. I've considered adding back Spotify but I usually find something to listen to, and it's harder to enjoy Spotify now that I've heard better.
  22. Awesome episode! Isn't it obvious that we're different? We can never get along and will be at war forever!

  24. I tried amarra SQ this w/e, after I figured out I had it for free from a past amarra purchase. I THINK I like it better w/ amarra sq, but it was a pain getting licenses updated and installed, and then tweaking settings. I thought it sounded worse, until I lowered the inputs levels a bit, and turned off the eq and filters. I guess that just leaves the engine without much of the extras. But that's what sounds best to my ears. A little more time to get over the frustrations, but I think I'm going to like it now.

I heard on the radio it was 19 1/2" at O'Hare. I saw 3 SUVs stuck in either the alleyways or side streets on the way in this AM. I pushed right through with my trusty Subaru! School was canceled for the kids. Luckily, since Anne is leaving her job anyway, she can call in this time!
