Remembering Harry Nilsson: American Beatle, filthy drunk, and the great lost music genius of the 1970s http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9529179/the-legacy-harry-nilsson

  3. Impressed: Reel + Blue Hawaii + 009s PWD + Liquid Gold + The Abyss (sorry) Gungnir + Mjolnir + HD800 Not Impressed: Gungnir + Mjolnir + Alpha Dog Not sure: Astell&Kern Have already forgotten most of the larger rooms names, but Zu's was certainly fun. The Enigma Super Tweeter (especially in the Mythology M1) sounded really nice. Wonder their price?

We don't have a general Grado thread, so I'll post it here. Due to procreation and balanced amps my Grados haven't gotten use in a couple years. Today though has been all day soundtracks with HF2s and RS1s (paired with work from home, a little wine blend and a Balancing Act). Damn, I forgot how much fun and right on the money with emotional music Grados can be. They're distorting wildly right now, but still I think my aim may have been a bit off. That is all.

  15. Believe that's the first Nexus 7. According to Google and Apple and the current offerings.... Google: 290g Apple: 308-312g Not huge difference of course, though if Apple went retina for their next version would be curious if they could match/lessen.
  16. Fair enough, but the Nexus 7 II is lighter than the iPad mini also.
  17. Everyone's use is different, but I primary use tablets for long text lately (Kindle, Readability, etc.). I still have my major issues with Android, but go to the 1G Nexus 7 over the 1G iPad for that use. I'd say pixel difference is especially noticeable there. Playing games, watching Netflix or Hulu+, etc. not so much.
