Really looking forward to getting my French Press. We had a Bodum but it's gone missing. I've been enjoying the SR500 but considering how much coffee we go through, I wish I'd splurged for Behmor roaster.

Be careful with the Pro Clip. The thing will break if you look at it wrong. FFXIV looks fun, but then I remember I've mostly sworn off MMO.

Have done 4 roastings now with SR500 and the evenness of the roast has gotten better each time. I hope it gets warmer soon so I can start roasting outside.

Anyone here have a source for Aged Sumatra green beans?

I bought the roaster from Burman, which is where my stepfather gets chunk of his beans. Dan - how bad is the smoke with the roaster?

Bought myself a FreshRoast SR500. Hopefully, I don't ruin too much beans before I get the hang of roasting them.

I haven't really touched the game since December when I took a break with the holidays. I think the only thing I've done since then is to look at the Horizons pre-order paintjob.

Went out to vote in the Presidential Primary. My town decided, in its infinite wisdom, 80% of the town will vote in the same location this year - the middle school. Which is located on one of the busiest roads in town with no turning lane into the school. While the school is in session.

While I like my Fitbit trackers, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired, as already mentioned. I think I'm on 6th or 7th tracker (currently Charge HR) at this point - at least they were all replaced under warranty.

^ Yep, they've been put in as deductions and we do have pre-tax dependent care. I obviously know how much we pay each month fro the kids, but it just hit me a lot harder to see the year's sum, especially when it was more than our mortgage for the year.

Finally started doing our taxes. It was utterly disgusting to see how much we spent on childcare last year.

We had a snow day yesterday as well - it was nice to have an extra day to unwind after 30 hour power outage. Today, my work has a 2-hour delayed start, the first one in years. It'll be interesting to see how this works out.

Looks like we are getting another 8-10 inches tomorrow. Joy.
