Been bit busy so I hadn't gotten around to checking scores (or did I get around to setting my final roster this morning). Much to my surprise, I'm actually winning this week in both leagues.

Ice cream sandwich

Went to a local pet expo so Libby can see some dogs (she's been really wanting to interact with them whenever we see one during our walks). She was really cute at the expo and now we want an English mastiff.

Someone's gotta stop the megapixel war, right? Canon did it (kind of) in the compact segment so why not in the dSLR as well. Maybe they'll even make a sub-$2000 full frame camera, cutting cost by focusing solely on still image and not including video features.

Is it wrong that what I really want out that pic is the desk?

Brown Bird - Tautology

Argument being that Nikon didn't want to kill off their dSLR sales. Of course, considering that kits costs $900 & $600, they'll still eat into their entry dSLR sales, methinks. I've also read elsewhere that these new models were done by their compact division/group and not SLR group/division.

Messed around with LR and flickr/Smugmug after dinner to catch up on photos I haven't gotten around to uploading (grandparents have been impatiently waiting for new photos of their granddaughter). While doing so, I somehow managed to delete most of the tags/keywords I had applied to the piles of photos I uploaded onto flickr yesterday/today. As much as it annoys me that they're gone, I don't think I have the energy to go through them and add them back at this point.

Well, it's official now. Nikon V1 & J1 (Imaging Resource)

My first digital P&S was an OIympus that my step-father gave me when he bought a new camera - it was one of the early Camedia models. I probably still have it somewhere in the abyss that is my basement (or one of the closets). All I remember about using that camera is the incredibly long shutter lag.

Speaking of which, I'm betting that AT&T won't let you grandfather your unlimited data plan if you want to get iPhone 5/4s/etc. at a discount. There're already talks of both AT&T and Verizon restricting FaceTime over 3G (expected new feature on iOS5) to those with tiered data plans.
