I doubt megapixel war will end anytime soon, though Canon looked like they were ending it when they released G11 and s90. What I want is to find a 5d2 for real cheap - maybe I should start going around estate sales.

I think it would be easier and better just to grab A77 and a long lens if you want a "cheap" Sony bird setup.

^ Too bad the lens selection on NEX series is still rather pitiful, though the addition of two new primes (24/1.8 and stabilized 50/1.8 ) is nice. I'm sure I'll trek myself over to a local Hunt's to try them once they're out, especially if my damn tendinosis isn't better by then.

Went to a local peach festival to pick some nectarines and peaches. The flyer for the festival said that it's starting at 10am. While farm stores/stands and peach picking were open, none of the other festivities really started until 12pm.

After using them for several hours yesterday, I will add these to mine as well (with Pro Speed Belt in my case). It worked really, really well while I chased/carried around my daughter around the zoo.

I must be the only one who prefers the original theme - the new theme's really hard for me to read.

Took Libby out yesterday to Southwick Zoo. She had a great time, though most of the big animals weren't cooperating (i.e., hiding somewhere in the shade to avoid the heat).

We bought a factory reconditioned one. It was $70 cheaper and came with the same 7-year warranty as a new unit. It looked brand new when I got it. IIRC, most of them are units they used once or twice for a demonstration at a show.
