The Knuckledragger 3rd Memorial Slow Forum Post
MexicanDragon replied to Knuckledragger's topic in Off Topic
Some of you may know I used to be a decent yoyoer, and I kinda got back into it last year when I had multiple people show me the 2013 world championship winner's video. I could do part of what that guy did, then he just blew me away. I got to watch the live stream, and it had multiple angles and the quality was better than these vids, but those aren't posted yet. Til then... This guy got 4th. If he hadn't messed up so many times, he would have been second, easy, and it would've been hard for me not to pick him as the winner. 4th place in 2014 Worlds: Paul Kerbel Now, the US champion Gentry Stein went to take on the world, at 18 years old, and took them all down with one of the most well choreographed routines I've ever seen. While most of these guys are on throws costing 85-150$, Gentry Stein's signature throw, the Shutter, is only 45$, and on sale now for 36$. That's just insane. **BRENT** -
Yay for n+1 bikes! **BRENT**

I just want deepak to play so I can watch him cry when I beat him out for third place. Keepers sound good to me. I like the PPR where it is, out of habit, but fine with whatever you guys want. **BRENT**

I think you should just get a new fit when you get your new bike... And then have them set up the C'dale as well for a few bucks. **BRENT**

Tour de Cure - Chattanooga, TN - May 17, 2014
MexicanDragon replied to MexicanDragon's topic in Off Topic
So our May ride got rained out (the family friendly ride). Today, however, was our makeup ride and wrap-up party. About 15-20 of us made it out to do a ten mile ride at the riverpark, along the TN River. Xavier and I rode, and he was the youngest participant by at least 6 years. We wound up being swept and came in right as they were serving burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches. We ate lunch, had the award ceremony (where our team won largest team), and then we said goodbye for a few more months to some Diabetes association friends and we signed up to do the 25 mile ride together next year. After everyone packed up, Xavier wanted to ride some more, so we did enough to make him realize he needed some bike shorts, so we called it a night and headed home. Thanks to everyone who supported us and the cause to help Diabetes awareness and research, it's really appreciated! All in all, we raised 123,000$ in the Chattanooga Tour de Cure! A little short of our goal, but still a pretty solid showing. <3 Brent -
You're a horrible person. **BRENT**

Hey Head-Case, what's your bandwidth like?

Not bad for LTE While doing 70mph in between EDGE spots In rural TN. **BRENT** -
I say go bike shopping for new carbon, and find a better lbs to fix the C'dale. One bike just isn't enough. Also, get a vintage steel Colnago. And a Ti Serotta. That's a good start. **BRENT**

My condolences to you and your mom, Larry. I know how that is, and it's tough. **BRENT**

Going to post the other 6? **BRENT** -
That's my Suunto Vector. The dial is 45.6mm, housing width is 51.4mm. I know it's a different style of watch but the size feels about right for me... Upper end of "medium sized." 40mm is definitely more of a "ladies watch" look for me. 42-44 would be the smallest I would want to look at for me personally. Lots of watches I like that just wouldn't look right at all. **BRENT**

http://turntablelab.com/products/pro-ject-dinosaur-jr-custom-debut-carbon-turntable-purple It says it should be shipping late June/Early July... May want to contact them about it. The Debut Carbon gets a lot of praise for the segment. I'll be getting a black one when I can. **BRENT**

Oh. 42mm would be too small. I thought that was mid/upper 40s. Thanks. **BRENT**

Nice, PJ! What size is that? Looks like something that would look normal on me. **BRENT**

Some photos of random people (and possibly not-so-random-people) at the 2014 Zoe's Rainbow Dash, a charity fun run put together by the parent's of a friend of my daughter's who we tragically lost in a boating accident a couple of years ago. It's been a nice event the past couple of years, and they're doing at least one more. LR5 is pretty easy to do basic things... IMO. I really need to start using Photoshop (I signed up for the 10$ subscription and didn't cancel.) It will do a lot more than what I use, but you can find cheapish copies online and you're set. **BRENT** -
Watching the GCN video, the guy was saying the Madone was their aero road offering, and this is more the "strong + light" one. I dig your Classics edition Domane, though. I figure the H1 fit is similar to yours, no? **BRENT**

Glad I could be of service. **BRENT**
