It seems to me that series spawning from a movie have a hard time. The nature of a film doesn't lend itself well to an ongoing series. Top notch writers are a must for sure.

Yes, that's what I mean. It seems they ran out of good ideas, though they did hold my attention. I also thought it funny that they did not further develop the newer characters. An opportunity lost IMO.

Half way through season 3. This one is really different, but still very good.

I wish I could keep Mamma. She is a real sweetheart. But I live in a small motorhome, and there just isn't room. I will endeavor to find her and the kittens good homes. The timing is good, as the winter Texans return soon, and they're soft touches.
