  1. Damn, that sounds good! The sandwich, that is.
  2. I may just attend!
  3. It's not really feasible to ship my home speakers. But once I'm settled in and financially solvent, I'm wanting these... http://www.emotivapro.com/products/stealth-6 My Buffalo II w/volumite will be a fantastic all in one source/pre to mate with them!
  4. Nice Mikey!
  5. Thanks all! Brent, you and everyone else here are invited to the first dinner party! it may be a long drive home though. at Al ! Mike, I hope everything works out for the best. Ken, Texas isn't the problem. Parts of Texas are awesome. The Corpus Christi Bay area isn't one of them.
  6. One way baby!!! I'm moving to Sacramento! I've wanted to move out of Texas since, well since about a week after moving to Texas. It only took 12 years, but things have happened that have helped to push me in that direction. I'm excited! I won't be a true Bay Area guy, but I imagine Al, Ric, Steve and others will open the gate and let me through once in a while. I'm also trying to tag other changes onto this one, i.e. healthier eating, better and more exercise (impossible to ride a bike safely here), building a better social life (I have really missed throwing dinner parties), etc...
  7. Booked my flight to Sacramento on July 17th.
  8. Happy Birthday Scott!
  9. Happy Birthday Justin!
  10. I've always thought of you as somewhat campy Raffy.
  11. He speaks much wisdom! I always pull my pinna back and up when trying to align with the canal.
  12. Damn! Another missed opportunity.
  13. It most likely is temporary Brent. Hoping for the best outcome!
  14. You haven't been storing extra biscuits in there have you? Feel better Brent!
  15. Congrat!
  16. Happy Belated Birthday David! Did you celebrate by entering the Passenger Van 500?
  17. Wow Adrian, I applaud your frugality! I know Shelly started the single congrat movement, but you've achieved a whole new level with the new thank movement! There's no telling how many wasted thanks this might save. Bravo Sir!
  18. I have not been a McDonald's fan since I was a child, and really not so much back then. I was there within the last 6 months or so, and I was shocked at the prices! You could eat at a decent diner or similar for what it cost to eat at the golden arches now. Why would someone spend $8.00 on McJunk? No offense meant to those who like their food, but I just don't get it.
  19. Good news Shelly! I spent the day with my Cousin. She and I always have a good time. She's been helping me with a big decision, and today it all started to feel real. Great day!

My favorite Gandolfini role was as Winston Baldry in The Mexican. R.I.P. James.
  21. Damn Jacob! You have definitely had more than your share of bad luck!
  22. Fingers crossed Shelly. Sorry Adrian! As tight as you wear your pants, that finger has got to be throbbing!
  23. Or midget porn.
  24. I do not miss cassette tapes. I would buy the highest quality Nakamichi metal tapes, and store them well. Even so, in a few years I'd notice dropouts. $1000.00 Nakamichi three head deck and $12.00 blank tapes (a lot of doe back then), and still such a limited shelf life.
  25. The catch must be that it's easier to catch?
