The Silvery color in unfinished form and the Caramel color with a finish has me convinced. I've used a whole lot of Curly Maple, but I've never seen any with that coloration and graining. However it's all good news IMO. Asian Satinwood is more exotic and certainly more expensive. That Caramel color is just gorgeous too! BTW, I think your sealant idea will work great too. I'd just make damn sure I had everything masked very well with Blue masking tape first.

I'm still of the impression that the first one is Asian Satinwood. It's the grain behind the curls, and the coloring that makes me believe this. Many people sell it as Curly Maple though, because that's their first assumption. It's a beautiful wood!

I live in the bowels of hell, and my car is Black. I usually leave the sunroof tilted up, and that keeps it pretty cool. Dan's right IMO.

Aren't all cars 10 yrs./100,000 Miles, bumper to bumper? Oh wait, that's right, that's just my car! The Genesis is very, very nice, and a bargain as well. http://www.hyundaigenesis.com/sedan/

New Woo Audio Electrostatic Headphone Amp!
Since knocking up his wife, he's had to learn to be flexible with the interchangeability of 'hot' and 'not'.

He's new around here. Go easy on him. The general consensus is that the T50v1 is the Ortho that was done right. No need for tweaking. It's an off the shelf success. I tend to agree with that after hearing yours for the few seconds before the flames shot out of my β22. You may well have a career in standup! BTW, I do have an adapter for listening from the speaker outputs of my Consonance Integrated. Thanks! Did you get a chance to hear them? I got the feeling Marc wasn't too impressed with them. Or it could have been that he was still mad because I stole his cookie.

OPPO BDP-83
Well I've never even been near a PS3, but since I own an Oppo BDP-83, it's clearly the far superior rig.

slow forum
I'm not necessarily apposed to that either, but my own shall remain a one way, South bound street.

I don't like electrostatics, I don't like electrostatics, I don't like electrostatics, I don't like electrostatics, I don't like electrostatics, I don't like electrostatics, I don't like electrostatics! Ah, thank God, I've almost got myself convinced.

Blue Hawaii Special Edition
Well quite frankly there is no end to this hobby, and if there were we'd all have to find a new one. Weaving baskets just doesn't have the same appeal. With that said however, I do think it's quite alright to let a little dust settle on a piece of gear. Elephas it's pretty easy to tell from your rig (and what a rig it is!) that you like to do a bit of tweaking. There is another side to the hobby...it's music! So many of you seem to forget about that. Just settle into that glorious new system and listen my friend. Remember that the object is not to become a gear collector, or even to have the most expensive gear. The object is to build a system that reproduces music to a level that brings a big smile to your mug whenever you pop in a CD. Grab an ice tea, glass of wine, scotch, whatever your preference and just enjoy some music! Otherwise send that shit my way!

A 3 way Dynalo
So true, which shows what a sad group of nerds we really are.

A 3 way Dynalo
Yeah sure! Your wife is reading this, isn't she? Reminds me of a funny little story... I once worked with a guy who kept hounding his wife to have a 3 way (never a good idea). After about a year she finally relented, I think hoping it would get it out of his system. So he goes to a bar and finds a suitable candidate...brings her home...has the 3 way. Next day he's totally excited, telling me how his wife got really into it. So he's thinking 3 ways are gonna be a new way of life for he and the Mrs. Instead within a month wifey discovers she's a lesbian and runs off with the girl. True story!
