Yeah sure! Your wife is reading this, isn't she? Reminds me of a funny little story... I once worked with a guy who kept hounding his wife to have a 3 way (never a good idea). After about a year she finally relented, I think hoping it would get it out of his system. So he goes to a bar and finds a suitable candidate...brings her home...has the 3 way. Next day he's totally excited, telling me how his wife got really into it. So he's thinking 3 ways are gonna be a new way of life for he and the Mrs. Instead within a month wifey discovers she's a lesbian and runs off with the girl. True story!

I think I'd make a horrible parent. Or at least an extremely over protective one, because guys like that haunt my nightmares. I could be way off base, but it's guys like him that would get me arrested for installing spycams illegally.

This method has worked very well for me in the past. After the segregation I started introducing them slowly, maybe 1/2 hr. at first.

I lost track of them years ago. I had no idea how difficult they'd be to find, or how valuable they'd become. This was also back when headphone amps really didn't exist, and the YH-1000 really needs power to shine.

Now the trick is finding flexible screws to drive.

I've not heard the HD800, but I have heard the WA6 and β22. I think both are great amps. I do find the β22 to be the more neutral of the two, so from what your wants are you may like the Woo better. It would be optimal to try both before buying of coarse.

Bastard!!! The YH-1000 was my first high end headphone. I bought them in the early '80s, but the strut broke within a year. I replaced them with a new K340, but I'd love to find a YH-1000 again. Congrats! Give 'em lots-o-luv!

Even more odd is that GEICO stands for Government Employee Insurance Company, so a British mascot for a company catering to U.S. Government employees seems stranger yet. Although the company has offered insurance to the general public for quite some time now.

It doesn't have to be by a famous artist to be cool. 'Buy what you like' is a good rule to go by.

From the ad agency... "We do not have artist for the ‘ink blot’ painting featured in GEICO’s “Trust Exercise” TV spot. It was just something thrown together on set by a prop assistant and then tweaked electronically in edit." I believe that's the same painting they're talking about. Kandinsky is for the most part a cubist, who uses vivid colors in his paintings, so I thought you were way off base. But after a little digging I did find this... So it would seem you were not so far off after all.

Not to try to outdo you two, but 104F with 30% humidity sounds downright pleasant. 102F with 75% humidity here today. The heatwave started in June this year, and there's been no relief in sight. OK, you got me beat!

He did a concert here just last week. It's a tour with Willie and Mellencamp. Willie is always good. Mellencamp rocked the house! And Dylan, though never known as a singers singer was absolutely terrible! Not only did he sound really, really bad, but he didn't play anything prior to his 90s' recordings.

Age is a minor factor. You smoke a pipe, so you automatically qualify. Now sitting in it in nothing but boxer shorts is more age related. I doubt you're at that point yet, for better or worse. Why didn't I think of that?
