  1. Read your welcome PM and avoid a lot of trouble.
  2. ^ Did you sell your DIY table Ari?
  3. Well at least that's better than the eedjuts that place one floor stander against the backwall, while the other is somewhere on the adjacent sidewall. That always make me want to scream. Especially when it's a decent pair of speakers.
  4. Sorry Vicki, you've had a rough time lately, hope things turn around soon.

You have me pegged Vicki! I can't get Darth Beyers off my head fast enough! They are probably the most annoying phones I've heard. But I like Country music too, so my preferences have to be measured against my bad taste. I don't think of myself as a Beyer hater either, but I agree with Fitz, to fit into this category they'd better have developed something really, really good, and completely different from their past offerings.
  6. And you did just order all that wire.

There is no big deal. We just like saying Tesla. It would be really cool to have a unit of measurement named after you. I'd like my name to be used as a new unit of penis measurement. Wouldn't that be awesome? "That guy's penis is half a Tice long" "Holey shit, that's huge! Where'd you hear that?" "His girlfriend is my Wife's Gynecologist, and she's hot as hell! Lucky Bastard!"

It's quite simple really... A UPS courier was delivering a package. The package happened to be a sewing machine that was needed for an emergency repair of a wedding gown, on the day of the wedding. After delivery of said item the courier (from now on to be reffered to as Bob) went back to his truck to find that he had been blocked in from the rear by multiple wedding party attendees. Bob decided that it would be much faster and easier to drive forward, between the houses onto the sidewalk, where he had hoped to turn in between a few houses further down, and get back onto the culdesac for a speedy exit. Not having room to turn 90 degrees, because of a rare Athabascan Woolywood tree planted to close to the sidewalk, Bob decided to cut the corner in stages. While backing up for a better angle, a scared Mother opossum, and her eight babies jumped from the tree, landing on the windshield of the UPS truck, thus scaring the shit out of Bob. Bob's natural reaction was to floor the truck to escape the wild pack of animals, thus overrunning the bank, and sliding down into the dry river bed, that coincidentally had just begun to fill with water from a freak accident at the dam up the road, caused by a FedEx driver delivering a SinglePower amplifier. It seems that during an abrupt stop, one of the floor wart power supplies came through the top of the case that was not very secure due to different size screws being scrounged to fasten it, and hit the courier (Sam, Bob's second Cousin's Husband) in the back of the head, causing Sam to momentarily blackout, veering into the side rail of the dam, causing sparks that ignited the gas tank of the Ford Pinto ahead of him. This caused the Pinto to explode, which weekened the structure of the dam, causing a small leak, which quickly grew into a large leak, because the crew operating the dam had been at the batchelor party of the Groom that Bob was delivering to, and were too hungover to react fast enough to keep the dam intact.
  9. Good eye, I didn't catch the pun.

I knew I was forgetting something!
  11. I must become your neighbor! You cook some good stuff!
  12. Put a thread up about recycling your worthless old umbilicals. If worded properly you may not only get them free, but get them to kick in the shipping as well. Tell them they're going to be used to make industrial strength nests for Spotted Grey Owls.

Well unfortunately I see a trend here. Sennheiser introduces a new flagship dynamic at $1,400.00. The headphones are met with good reviews. The price barrier is broken with minimal complaint, so now all the other companies want to come out of the woodwork with a headphone they can charge upward of $1000.00 for. That's all fine and dandy if the research is there to back it up, and the headphone merits that kind of cash layout. Unfortunately there will be many that don't.

I thought the simple act of putting a pair on your head accomplished that?

    Ditto, as of yesterday.

My first thought was that they built a new stat. That's what they should have done. I can wait indefinitely. I had some 600 Ohm DT990s that I liked. They were nice, but not without their flaws. In the end they just weren't quite it for me.

A $1,300.00 Beyer dynamic headphone? Interesting, but I'd say bad timing, with the HD800 getting pretty good reviews.
  19. Don't forget the fondant coating option for Spritzer.
  20. I was thinking it looked pretty good, considering the amount of work it's seen. Marc's house should be on a DIY field trip tour. You really can't describe the awesome stuff he has laying around everywhere. Some seriously cool shit!
  21. Yesterday I set 10) 16' X 8" X 8" pilings 8' into the ground. Today the plan is to cut saddles on the top of each, for the beams that will support joists. I'm building a shade pergola to cover the outdoor kennels of my local animal shelter. They should have started the project in May, but at least the little doggies will get some relief in a few days.
  22. Ah, and there's the full pic. That thing is awesome Nate! And those boards are quite lovely as well. If I can build some kind of angled leg system for optimum work height and angle, let me know? Of coarse it would not attach, but just sit in place. That's hawt Dan! I'm not much of a watch guy, due to my job (I've killed several), but I'd definitely wear that!

I wanted one of those too. That site may become addictive.
  24. Am I correct that the board is a single channel? So two for stereo and four for balanced? What config. are you building Marc?
  25. Indeed!
