  1. Unintentional pun points!
  2. I is believe not in them findings!

Once. I was 13 and found a stash of Hustler magazines in the woods. Unfortunately I didn't find any lotion.
  4. And the boots really complete the ensemble.
  5. Out of context, but here ya go... Sex Toys and Adult Toys for Men and Women at Fleshlight.com
  6. So guys, does it look likely that the uber controller will be available in time?
  7. My understanding is that the movement (minimal as it may be) of the sand or shot is what actually dissipates the resonance. Whereas a solid material carries the resonance through its mass. The structure of the sand or shot is actually able to absorb and deaden the vibrations, where the solid material is only able to at a much smaller degree. I'm sure someone else can explain it much better than myself, but your question is far from dumb. You've got to give them the inside story!
  8. Happy Birthday Posty!
  9. Solid concrete will not be as anti-resonant as a hollow stand filled with shot or sand, but it should work fine.
  10. I'm sure you'll look OK in Brown.
  11. Yes, IIRC the minipods are about 13" tall. Not at all a full sized speaker though.
  12. No, I was looking at pants IIRC, that was back in '93. But you have had occasion to deal with a clothing clerk at a high end retailer, have you not? The fact that you're not in the market for mens underware is neither here nor there. You'd have to be the worlds best saleman to get me to wrap the boys in lace. To wrap them in lace and give you $125.00, not gonna happen.
  13. Well Marc, everyman's dream is a clear hole, with no road blocks, but that's rarely the case is it?
  14. That's exactly what the salesman at Nieman Marcus told me, when he tried to get me to buy Versace lace boxer briefs for men, to the tune of $125.00 per pair. Needless to say, my boys ain't never spent a day in lace!
  15. Isn't that usually accomplished with a stint as a courier for UPS?
  16. For a one off design that wouldn't be at all overpriced IMO. Setting up jigs, steaming wood and laminating the veneers is labor intensive. However for a mass produced product, where the jigs are already in place, it does seem a bit high.
  17. Well I've got an umbilicle cable that Marc made me and it's gorgeous, so I'm sure he can attend to that. While you're at it Marc, how about using some spray tack to glue some Black speaker cloth behind the grills. That really looks untidy, and I know you're as fussy as I am. For strain relief maybe some wire ties snugged up tight on the cables ala Fitz?
  18. My favorite post of the month for sure!
  19. Mods, please take count of members responding favorably to said funky stands and ban their asses post haste! Actually I think they're quite cool myself. I've thought about making a steamer and some jigs for similar designs before.
  20. He also has some of my gear. Hince the ass kissing remarks.

    Mmmm! DairyQueen anyone?
  22. That Nate is a smart fellow! That's exactly what I would do. It'll be a nice feature too.
  23. It looks like December at the earliest.
  24. Does it say Dr. Wood next to your avatar? Nooooooooo! I'm the fuckin' Doctor...I'll take care of the diagnosis, thank you very much! :p
