And those are the ones that came with the Yamaha keyboard, correct? My first high end headphones were the now elusive Yamaha YH-1000. I remember them being great, but would love to confirm that now.

Cool, and I'm glad to see you hung onto the stands. Those are a couple of my favorites. I've been busy taking my system to a new level since our last meet. The only thing that's the same as when you last saw it are the K340, which I will never part with, but even those are now balanced. It'd be a blast to get together at another meet sometime!

Technically I didn't buy this, it's a Birthday present. It's a riot how absolutely incompetent I am at this. I hope to be able to get through Foghat's "Slow Ride" on easy within a month. I've been playing all morning, and I think that's a realistic goal.

I have to agree here. If you were secure enough in your own masculinity it wouldn't bother you in the least. Try on some of your Mom's underwear, put on some Ricky Martin videos and see if you get all tingly.

I was kind of snippy this morning when I wrote this, because I kind of like to read some interesting threads before starting off to work. This morning this lame thread was just par for the coarse, and it's been happening more and more. I still like to read what's going on over there, and I'm not trying to put it down, but sometimes there is such a rut of useless keyboard vomiting before something interesting pops up. I hardly think of myself as an old timer at just over 2 years of membership, and I won't drone on about the good old days when every post was informative, but I think it tends to come in waves. I'm sure there'll be a wave of good threads eventually.
