My home office has a Jack n Jill bath, shared with a guest bedroom, though it is blocked with a bookcase to make it dedicated to the other room. I do, indeed, have a sink... That said, I never, ever have.... but, all my friends ask if they can (lazy bastards). And, no. Back yard, of course... shower, affirmative... but, not the sink.

I just find it pretty compelling that the hd800 causes conversation and hard looks when compared to the he90, r-10, etc. What more could have possibly been expected?

OK, so I spent a few hundred on a cable, and 3 grand (so far) on amps - not quite getting all the hostility. But, I never do. Oh, and which Al? There are so many of us.

A bit, but not really... it is two of those units, one slightly smaller, where they stack. It looks really wild, and the .20 aluminum helps act as two huge heatsinks. Actually, the design came from someone who is completely unaware of the whole headphone world, so quite the coincidence. Now, to fuinish it up... THEN, make a curved case in wood... guess who will be involved in that... well, or so I hope...

Wow, that is flattering, but if I can fuck up a WORKING BH, well, yeah. I'd vote Naamanf to build mine, pending his schedule, and maybe he'll get around to a new stat build, like... ... a VULCAN? The perforated aluminum tops were just painted with hammered copper paint, so pics this pm. Oh, and Steve about that teflon jack (my last long awaited part to go fully arcy-sparky). Specs: parallelled 6s4a, pseudo BH ccs, 5 position adjustable bias (courtesy of Naamanf), and seperate 350v-450v adjustable (or fixed) psu. The creator is luvdunhill, and if either of us could case something worth a damn (though, he still has a chance). I have a curved aluminum case, but can't seem to get it welded together properly, where screws and JB Weld have all been epic fail. Weld, gaps filled, ground smooth, then powdercoated. Should just take another couple of months, so the wood case is a temp hack.

I did - #1, and delivered in person. Kinda like it, and no opinion as to what stock sounds like yet. Oh, and the hd800 finally seems complete with the Furutech 601s.

I also had to check out over there... but will give it one shot, as I have promised some impressions - once Alex gives me back my phones with the cables. Methinks he likes, but, as always, hates the cable, so, he's testing product with my cans. At least someone is enjoying them. Oh, and how precious is the HC linky in that thread? Someone is getting a pee-pee spank for that one.

I think the real test is how they measure up against the he60, which I will be able to tell eventually, and have a meet with others to check as well. Alex has mine for retermination, and biasing the new amp, so it may be a day or so.
