  1. My guys are drinking Manhattans made with human growth hormone as I type this.
  2. Haha! I was planning to write EXACTLY the same thing! Indeed, Gene, happy birthday. You're my hero, too.
  3. Yes, it could drive it. Not terribly well, but acceptably until the badass amp is ready.
  4. You should get 40% of a used G-Lite, 40% of a B22, and 20% of a B-52 and then solder them all together.
  5. Happy Birthday Haj!
  6. Total fail. It appears that the Contact Info is direct to Zound. So lame.
  7. I am getting absolutely smoked. One starting RB had negative yardage in the passing game, the other flirted with negative yardage in the running game(!). Of course, the RB I sat because he was playing the #1 rushing D managed to score 25 points. Not my week.
  8. Why can't more reviews be like this? Nicely done, Posty.
  9. Vicki, I am very much with you here. I have been going to spin class for several weeks now and my ass is still sore. Not chafing sore, muscle sore. Like I pulled my ass. It is getting better, but very slowly. Regardless, I am loving the spin class. Hopefully, it will make a visible difference at some point, but at least I'm feeling healthier.
  10. It will be interesting to see what types of higher end components embrace Airplay (i.e. Non-boomboxes). It's so easy to use. Typical Apple; take something that has been around for a while and take it to the next level by making it simple and seamless. Love it. Tapatalk.
  11. I think the 1100 is better than the north star m192 mk2.
  12. Nums, where did you get the booze?
  13. Ric, my iPad keeps the full interface when streaming music files through the Apple TV. The Apple TV, however, does not display the song that is currently streaming. Perhaps I need to fiddle around with the settings.
  14. Haj, we're basically in the same boat--mine is early '06. If an SSD drive would speed this thing up noticeably, it would be nice.
  15. Reks, please report back re performance. Do you think it will speed things up significantly, if at all? Tapatalk.
  16. Happy birthday, Bryan.
  17. Ric, I'll check this out tomorrow and get you an answer. AirPlay is great for my son. It's much easier for him to navigate than firing up the Apple TV and wading through the menus.
  18. Yup, hdtracks. I think it's new there.
  19. Agree. I grew up listening to it, so the album has a place in my heart. It's nice that he doesn't yell at the audience.
  20. Keith Jarrett - The Koln Concert (24/96)
  21. It took me about 30 seconds to accomplish this on my Apple TV. Just make a playlist of the movies you want. It appears that the Media Kind needs to be Music Video, which is stupid, but maybe there's a workaround. I suggest this new site, Google, as it has lots of information from teh internets. You can get recipes, too!
  22. Flew back from St. Louis. We were running 15 minutes early, but of course that's actually a bad thing when getting into LGA because they punish early arrivals by making them take the long-ass approach. Jack almost puked as a result. Fortunately, he didn't quite get green, and we made it without incident. Movie/pizza night tonight. The missus and I will be drinking Manhattans in honor of, well, Manhattan.
  23. Heh. For you Marc, no problem. How will you be using the speakers? Laptop?
