Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. In the brief time I spent with the LCD-1, I found myself thinking that it was more engaging than the HD800 (though more flawed, too).

How does the LCD-2 compare to the HD800? Is that an odd comparison? For some reason it strikes me as appropriate given the whole stat/dynamic presentation. Anyway, I'd be interested if anyone has thoughts.

Took the train back from East Hampton. Little Monkey's first substantial non-subterranean train ride. Got home. Watched Mark Sanchez lose to the Saints. Helped Mrs. Monkey pack for 4-day business trip to MasNoNoNoNoNoNosetts. When the cat's away, the mice fall into general disarray.

Similarly, here in Manhattan, we have a North Moore Street, which some street signs refer to as "No. Moore St." But it's right there, I say!

Oh man, Doug, I'm sorry to see that. Can't hurt to try to file a claim with the carrier (if it works the same there as it does here). More importantly, though, that damage looks almost like it was pre-existing. Maybe it's just hard to tell from the pictures, but it almost looks like...water damage?

Yeah, the weak-clamping variety are teh suck.

The last batch of Monoprice RCAs I ordered suck and suck hard. Maybe I got a bad batch. They don't clamp with any force whatsoever. EDIT: And I generally like Monoprice.
