I feel the same as you, pretty damn awesome to be doing what you love at that age.

Audeze LCD-2
I am like the anti-classic Mac sound type of person. I would say they sound like full range Maggies (20.1) with the 2M resistors in place. But with tighter bass. Like the Maggies they have punch and that planar sound, but don't have the delicacy of the best electrostat speakers. The AT midrange issues, Lambda etch, CD3000 drilling treble and recessed midrange are all flaws that are grossly evident.

Considering building M3 and σ11 to drive speakers
Why not build a design that was actually designed to drive speakers? You would probably get more info about this specific request by posting in the AMB forums: http://www.amb.org/forum/

Audeze LCD-2
I've been trying to recreate the resonance since I got my pair last week and haven't been able to detect it. I tried playing solo unamplified instruments as well as plenty of jazz to allow me to really focus and I just can't hear it.

Coffee Grinders
Is the AeroPress cumbersome to use? The videos I've seen make it look like a good amount of downforce is required, and one slip and you have scalding hot coffee everywhere.

Hank Mobley - Another Workout (Music Matters 45 rpm) can't believe this was never originally released when it was recorded. I'm pretty sure it would have been just as big as Workout

What are you listening to Part the Third
IMO it is the best version on CD (tonally sounds the closest to the original vinyl), and I have heard them all. Still I prefer the UK first pressing vinyl, but I only play them when I'm not "background" listening. The problem with that CD is it omits Sleeping Village and Warning due to the time limitation. I still can't get over that, truncating one of the best metal albums ever
