Using a vise to get the pins out, you might need a jig. I use the vise to hold the plug firmly then lightly hammer on the pins to get them out.
Actually getting them out is pretty easy. Pressing them in the new plastic is more difficult. Kevin also suggested to make a jig to press them in.
The R40 and R41 are indeed identical. I replace both with new resistors and now the amp is back to singing.
The root of the problem is that my PS has gone bad and put out 24VDC instead of 12VDC. Somehow the excessive voltage only destroys one of the caps and R40.
Thanks Kevin and Birgir for your help.

Gentlemen! Please help me fix my SRM252A.
One of the 4 250V, 22uF capacitors is leaky. I've already replaced it. The resistor, R40 (near the transformer), is burnt so bad that can't tell its value. Does anybody have its schematic diagram?

I bought a pair of SR009 a few months ago, and I noticed that the phones weren't as sensitive as the pair I heard when they first came out. I think Stax might have increased the spacer thickness just a little.
