Thanks for the info. For fixing the small insulation like that, you can also use the clear fingernail paint too. Wachara C.

Have you changed all the resisters in the active battery? After I've changed all on mine, It's noise free.

Happy birthday!!!

About adding the thickness to spacers, you can try something as simple as a piece of paper. Last time when I measured, the 80 GSM A4, photocopy paper was about 100 microns thick.

I do put the thermal paste between the brackets and the heatsink. That way you'll have a better thermal transfer, IMO. Wachara C.

Oh, it's good that the coating is still OK. Are there dust covers on the front and the back of the driver? Are they still in good shape? The dust covers if they are in good condition, should provide a pretty good shield against moisture. I wonder what that black wire on the drive is for.

Use a miltimeter to check the solder points with the pins to comfirm the cable too. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

It said that the driving Mosfets were inside the cups. Then there is no way that these haedphones can be driven by other amplifiers without serious modifications.

Wow. That's amazingly beautiful.

Congrats! The amp looks nice.

Looking forward to receiving them.

The power supply looks nice and compact. Congratulations!

Yea, the noise could very likely come from leaky resistors. On mine, the leaky resistors not only caused noise, they also caused the active battery to be very unstable.

Wow!

I can try to make a pair to see the difference.

Those look a lot like wire mesh stators.

Happy belated birthday.

Done.

That's a nice little amp you have there. How do you fit the boards and transformer in there?
