All the young kids in his age group rave about the Dres and funnily enough there is a great war going on with the Skull Candy fans versus the Dre fans. None of the kids have ever heard anything else let alone done some serious listening comparisons, but that doesn't stop them, the know their phones are the bestest. I am making great progress, I just need to stop him before he discovers the Blue Hawaii and 009s.

Agreed. There are only a few labels that I know of who use an analog source for their hi rez DLs and these are the ones I trust, MA Records, Chesky, High Definition Tape Transfers, and Linn (I think).

Mary found this while shopping for furniture. 2008 Pine Ridge Cabernet, a nice balanced blend of Cabernet, Merlot, Petite Verdot,Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. Very approachable after giving it 1-1.5 hours of breathing, what Justin used to be. Would go real well with Shelly, Mike or Al's BBQ. I suspect since the Cabernet grapes in this blend are from Napa, and this winery's more refined blends are from Stags Leap, some of the Cab grapes in this line are sourced from Stags Leap, sure seems that way. So Jeff might like to give this a try since he is rumored to like Stags Leap grape juice.

Ok, to provide further clarification to Shelly's question and to resolve my own confusion on this subject I spent some time reviewing my ULN-8 documentation and found no unbalanced cable diagram for the ULN-8. Dan was correct in that his diagram for the ULN-2 connectors is what MH recommends, but that diagram is in the ULN-2 pdf only. Since I found the recommendation of using a TRS connector in a unblanced cable unusual I sent Metric Halo tech support an email and this is their response "If you are connecting to a TS or RCA, you connect Tip to Center Wire Sleeve to shield And don't connect Ring to anything. We generally find that you will get less distortion if you use TRS and leave the ring unconnected (not shorted to ground). It will still work if you use a TS, but the distortion will be higher." So Shelly, TS and RCA connectors on a ULN-2 cable will work, TRS (with a floating center ring) and RCA are preferred per MH. As far as I can tell a TRS with a unconnected floating center ring is not readily available so you may need to custom order it. The second link I provided does a nice job in custom cable configuring.
