There is nothing quite as disconcerting as sitting in your office looking out the windows and watching black ash rain down around you. The wildfires are about fiftyfive minutes away by freeway but the smoke and ash are really thick out here. Sheesh, wish I didn't have to drive into LA right now.

I can tell you that so far Luxman P-1 is sounding pretty impressive, very impressive. Granted it is fed by the Capitole MKII playing a LFF remaster but I am kind of floored by the music I am experiencing. I will post more details when I have a free moment but I think I should leave the bulk of the impressions for the attendees of the So Cal meet.
