  1. No Steve, you do not exist. You are just a figment of your own imagination. Now how about imagining you making a headphone stand for moi. (Hints unashamedly).
  2. I would take the Dalis over the Merlins (at any price) any day. I have heard both driven with sources way out of your budget yet the Dalis kicked the heck out of the Merlins IMHO. I was shocked because the Merlins have a great rep but when I actually heard them, ehhhh. Again just my humble observations for what it is worth.
  3. Jus' trying to keep you around for a few more years that's all. Or at least keep you around 'til my 701's fully burn in.
  4. If you bought this /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ then you should buy this http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.pharmaceutical-technology.com/projects/pfizer-roi/images/5-lipitor-tablet.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.pharmaceutical-technology.com/projects/pfizer-roi/pfizer-roi5.html&h=300&w=332&sz=43&hl=en&start=1&tbnid=c0JP47nmrF0oGM:&tbnh=108&tbnw=119&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dlipitor%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DG
  5. Steel cut oatmeal. It is good for the heart and the lower G.I. tract.
  6. What is so great about Tyll is that he is the consummate professional, a real industry innovator, and is confident enough not to take himself too seriously. If you ever get to meet and spend some time talking to him you will be impressed with what a genuine person he is. He is the real deal, as long as he keeps his Hawaiian shirt on.
  7. Nah, that is not too expensive, instead of your Shun you should buy this: http://www.korin.com/product.php?pid=1035&cat=&subcat=&subsubcat=&df=knife&catname=&subcatname=&subsubcatname=&mnum=HNE-KYA-K330&PHPSESSID=ae304766fdeda54ad8e5a216fa7a39a2 now that is EXPENSIVE.
  8. OK, that didn't work. How about this on sale? http://www.wineenthusiast.com/E/details.asp?Ep=An/171+201//A/21561&uid=0E75957D%2D80D4%2D4B58%2D9259%2DC2E2EDD8397F You have an image to uphold you know.
  9. Reks needs to buy one of these http://www.laguiole.com/3007gcred.htm to go with his Shun Santuko.
  10. Well I guess that explains why I am not a web retailing gazillionaire.
  11. A weak marketing ploy to have the Guess products pop up on Google searches. Why they think people searching for political gossip will end up buying their clothing is beyond me.
  12. So Nate, when you say "transport" does that mean you intend to keep the Hertsens? Or will that be on the block for something different/bigger/better/cooler/flashier? Anyone here had experience with the Birdland DACs?
  13. Great buy Reks. I have a Shun as well. They are razor sharp out of the box and need just a few minutes with a #1000 stone to polish the edge back to near razor sharpness. A great balance of carbon and chromium, just enough chromium to keep it stainless and enough carbon to keep the edge for longer that a few tomatoes. Sweet!
  14. One case of Justin Isosceles, One case of Lewis Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, four bottles of Kosta Brown Pinot, two bottles of Kistler Chardonay, and more this weekend when I get my allocation notice, (I hope). .....and that is why I don't have more expensive speakers and sources.
  15. I live in Southern California and have not found anyone competent or trustworthy in fifteen years of searching. Thanks for the AudioK reco I never though of that, will give them a try. Thanks again.
  16. Thanks loads for the tip Dusty. Now I need to find a local modder because shipping this beast back and forth would cost a bundle.
  17. . You might want to consider the newer technology. It is easier, generally makes for a more precise shift, and less distracting. I will never go back. Also, as we get older, if you can't train harder, go lighter. Dew eeet!!!!
  18. It's a 54 with Dura Ace components and the DeutscheTelecom color scheme so you gotta know it is pre Y2K. Not that I want to talk you out of anything but I can't imagine buying a 21 pound bike in this era. My Calfee is 16 pounds and a world of difference on a ride with 2k of climbing. Thanks for not laughing though. My post was a intended to be a comment not trying to fish for buyers but since you asked....
