  1. Sorry to hear about the injury, wishing you a speedy recovery. Try to make the most of any sympathy you can attract while you are on the crutches.
  2. Sorry work and Head Case posting don't mix. AS is correct, scientists think sex is for making new scientists, they don't think sex is for fun. At least our friends don't, that is why I drink a lot when they come over for a bar b que. Quite entertaining after a bottle of Pinot you know.
  3. Mirumu, dc, great suggestions and thank you for your time. Initially, I would always consider a foreign buyer because I agree foreign audiophiles often get the short end of the stick. If the buyer was established on HeadFi or even better, established here on Head Case, I would make the extra effort. But he is not and he only has three Ebay feedback comments so unfortunately this won't work for me. I will keep all of your suggestions filed in the event any foreign buyer in the future wants to buy any of my humble gear.
  4. Why? So. Cal is closer to Israel than Nor. Cal so postage should be cheaper.
  5. Wow, thanks for the timely responses. I always struggle with my soft side wishing to help others out with this hobby/obsession and occasionally live to regret my decision. Interestingly, all of your responses were qualified yeses, meaning "I might do it but I would also take these precautions" no one said flat out "you paranoid fool of course it is safe". So my decision is made and I will respectfully decline. I don't need the dough that bad to take another chance even after reading all those CanJam posts which have me wishing. Thanks for your counsel.
  6. I need a little Head Case advice and attitude. I received a pm yesterday from the other site regarding the EC/SS I put up for sale a month ago. The buyer is new and has three posts and no feedback to his credit. The prospective buyer has offered to pick up postage and PayPal costs and wants me to ship the EC/SS to Israel. I live in Southern California and the thought of shipping something outside of North America has me a little concerned about the amp ever arriving even if insured or the buyer claiming the amp never arrived. I see substantial risk of the buyer claiming he never received the package and requesting a refund. Over the years and after reading so many horror stories I have come to the conclusion than with foreign transactions such as this one, the buyer has all the leverage and the seller is at the buyers mercy. I see red flags. Am I being paranoid? Thanks for your comments. Greg
  7. Well of the five scientists that I know personally, no comments about small sample size I know that, "sex" is only for procreation and nothing else.
  8. ..............well if you would quit buying all that wine...... No wait. What better way to enjoy all those tunes than Pinot, sunset, warm California weather perhaps a great Maytag Bleu Then again maybe I should take my own advice.
  9. I really hope you are kidding.

  12. Hmmmm. Well "he" is now on my radar, will make sure not to do any business with him.
  13. Happy Birthday. Now go buy something for yourself.
  14. We call him Sid. He watches over the audio gear. He dosen't eat much, just bites a little.
  15. Sheesh! All I ever find at garage sales are Elvis paintings on velvet.
  16. Currently, the Trafomatic Head One is single ended only and since Sasa seems to have so many things on his plate I doubt a true balanced headphone amp would be along any time soon. Trafomatic seems to be more focused on home speaker audio more so than headphones, but that is just my observation based upon his product line mix. I think the GS and the G Lite would be excellent choices and great value but they will not compensate for a weak source. As others have posted here both of these amps tend towards transparent and if you have any weaknesses in your cdp output you will know soon enough.
  17. Ryan, I just had a glass of Chardonnay in your honor, happy birthday man.
  18. Congrats and sorry about your wallet. No wait, tha has already been used. Nonetheless you will soon know what I mean . Congratulations agin!
