  1. I don't see a conflict here...most contemporary music doesn't go below 80Hz. So most likely its fine for bass for most modern genres in terms of presence, but lacks sub-bass.
  2. A lot of "entertainment" on St. Catherine Street . Gotta have the Montreal smoked meat and Montreal style bagels. Best food town in Canada IMO with some of the very best deli food out there too.
  3. I guess I always pictured the old guy as around 6 feet tall.
  4. Agreed. And "matched" tubes are typically only matched when they're new. They could decay separately from each other so after a while they won't be as "matched".
  5. Nothing "balanced" about the BA or 300b tube amps.
  6. Congrats! I paid mine off late last year and life is great without that stupid thing over my head!
  7. Actually HF had the good sense to ban his ass for life.
  8. Measurements are on Headroom: http://www.headphone.com/headphones/cardas-em5813-ear-speakers-model-1.php I agree with Headphoneaddict...."meh"
  9. The HD700s are pretty bad...I prefer the HD600s over them. Not sure what Sennheiser did, but they took several steps back with these cans IMO.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaK9bjLy3v4
  11. ^^^ Last photo looks like the Grado PS1000 FR graph. Rolled off bass and spikely uncontrolled treble.
  12. LoL...sure. It will only help the resale value of mine. My money is on the GS-X mopping the floor with the LAu. The LF was a major disappointment and cost $3250...and several developed unexplainable hums (kinda like the Liquid Glass come to think of it).
  13. I still consider shills ones who get preferential treatment or discounts. All but Justin (HeadAmp) seem to be guilty of this to me.
  14. Honestly, for the $, I'd recommend the venerable M50s. These have muddy and thick bass that just overwhelms the mids. Constructions comes off a bit cheap too. A disappointment for my any way.
  15. Hank is great. SciShow rules!
