Went to my first Porsche club cars and coffee this morning. An unbelievable number of GT3s showed up. The wealth in the Bay Area is ridiculous. Some highlights: Loud and proud GT3 RS: Yellow Bird! GT3s don’t get old Purple? Sure Still dig the turbo body style with the rear air intakes Um, yes please! Any my favorite, the Boxter Spyder. I’m in love.

Had a most excellent hike today out to see the waterfalls of Al’s back yard Tam. Flows are awesome after all the rain we’ve had. Dam at the bottom was spilling at full speed.

For All Mankind - Season 3 Every season I doubt this show and come to it way late in the game long after the entire season has played out. Every season it has surprised me. I’m about halfway through season 3, which involves a 3-way race to Mars between the US, USSR, and a private company. I’m loving it. Is this the best hard sci-fi show currently in production? I think the answer might be “yes”.

Pink Floyd - Animals (2018 Remaster) I hadn’t listened to this album front to back in years but this new remix had me dipping back in. It sounds great. This album rocks. Shame these guys still don’t get along with each other to this day (supposedly this was delayed from Roger and David fighting over the liner notes?). They had such a unique sound together. IMO the worst of the Floyd albums is better than any of David or Roger’s solo work.

This is so stupidly fast that it looked fake when this car ran the Goodwood hill climb.

9.1 second quarter mile production car? Good lord, that is fast.

RIP, Angelo. Your music was a key character in my favorite TV show ever.

Glad he didn’t kill himself with the BASE jump at the beginning. Also cannot believe how much kinetic energy must be in the jump at around the 5 minute mark at what looks to be close to top speed.
