20 ft only here, I like to have the ability of getting up and walking around without taking the phones off, esp if its a good track playing. With Grados I use extensions of course but the Cardas on the Senn's is 20ft, so is my Cardas for the sensaphonics (home use only cable). I did a comparo with a few Grados and the extension cable a long time ago, didn't hear shit of a difference. I would love to buy a set 0f 701's but how the hell am i going to get a stock cord in 20ft length? don't think i am buying them soon.. It depends on your needs and how far off the Rack do you listen to the headphones. i don't believe the greater the length makes a sonic change, unless your running 300 feet lengths maybe. also if your balanced it should not matter one bit no matter the length. as far as hearing the difference between 6 feet and 20ft I would say your smoking something.

I was going to tell you about the Authentic site and the black sea master..ha i think the "bond" labeled stuff is the blue watches, they did have a real deal bond sea master with the co axial movement and 007 on the second hand (also made a planet ocean in 007 form). I would personally go with automatics from now on, no more Quartz for me. again when you go looking at AD's make sure your getting 15% off or greater (i have not seen greater but then again i have not really looked for it).

If you go local AD on Omega look to spend (at best) 15% off of retail (plus taxs). You can also go grey market Omega's and get 20 or maybe 30% off of retail. Costco's prices are on par with local ad's but sometimes Costco won't budge on retail..which is bullshit. I know Breitling has a owners club when you buy from a local AD Breitling sends you free gifts. ( i got a hat and a box of chocolates), not sure about Omega though. another plus to a local AD is 12 months same as cash (most AD's will have this), why use money now when you can borrow it for free..?... Omega's are nice watches. you are looking at a Quartz movement in that price range though (maybe you want one). movements will be from ETA which is owned by Swatch (same company who owns Omega, Tissot,). not sure what is in the $1300.00 mark for omega but there are lots of nice brands for that price. Sinn, Ocean7, Raymond Weil, BAUME & MERCIER, Oris and Tissot to name a few..but I think Omega is the highest brand name in the bunch (all use the same movements though..mostly).

the sub dial on the face is to tell you if either a high or low tide is in action and when each should go in or out. the crown at 8 is to set the sub dial (adjust the Tide dial). i never seen a outside bezel count down, usually it counts up. 47mm is a big ass watch!

I always been switchy about the 650's and 600's. I think if you get a balanced setup just right you can rock the 600's amazingly where the 650's would seem boom boom bad. but the 650's are slower and a bit more lively (like in yo face) then the 600's. hardcore 600 user for the most part, esp at a used price of $170ish "I mean, come on, He was out of town, and his two friends were soooo fine" :Los Del Rio, Macarena
