  1. Hrm that makes me feel a little bit better about tmobile.... mmm squeezyy zoom. Still loving it It's amazingly scratch resistant too.. no issues with screen or the back even.
  2. The Treks have been a boon in the crazy rainy weather we've had all week in CA since they seem to have just enough height for me to dodge getting my feet wet to the shallowest of puddles which my KSOs have been falling victim to.
  3. I figured that was normalish for things meant to be paired with mp3 players without an amp. Dunno though? Then again I use etymotics er6is.
  4. Sorry duders :/ I got it from this new super exclusive forum I was recently invited to and they have a hardcore no sharing policy that people get banned daily for breaking :/ However, I plan on acquiring a physical copy in the hopefully near future then I'll have 0 problems hooking it up. I do have a mix with the track in that video that can be distributed I'll pm a link if its still public.
  5. Imo the "ultimate headphone" doesn't have a frequency response range that ends at 18khz ;p
  6. Frivolous pop crush of the day though this song has its weird parts.
  7. I finally got my Treks in today and am liking them. Not as unflexible as I would have thought. They need to break in, but I like the extra solid feel. I like the upcoming Bikila's a lot. Definitely going to get a pair of them. The treads and lighter look/feel is really interesting to me. Vibram Five Fingers Fans - Birthday Shoes - More on the Vibram Five Fingers Bikila (2010 Catalog Photos) There also is a shoe lace variant called Speeds which are only Euro market atm. I don't like the look of those as much. I would never give up velcro for laces ;p Then again I'm not a runner. 8. Yeah my only complaints is how gross they get in rainy weather and how stinky they get. Hopefully with a 3 pair rotation and rigorously washing machining them they will be good. Toe socks are also key.
  9. You say that, but then you find yourself in India wanting to put new music on your Iphone but it's synced to your desktop almost exactly 1/2 of a world away. Yeah I know there are ways around this and smarter things that I could have done besides syncing it to my desktop, but its all still kind of cumbersome and annoying to deal with.
  10. Yup 3g. Yeah I don't doubt the 3gs is much faster as that's the point of the 3gs. The 3g is underclocked to 400 mhz and the 3gs is to 600ish and this is 1ghz. I've played with my dad's 3gs. The nexus 1 is still massively faster. Yup yup <3 shilling.
  11. Having had the phone for a bit. I'm fully converted. My initial qualms with it were 1. no multi touch (The only place I care is squeezy zoom) 2. no at&t 3g since I have 7 months on my contract and don't plan on breaking it. 2 was immediately blown away by the sheer superiority of the hardware specs everything except for a couple of websites loads faster on the edge than on the iphone 3g with 3g. I also like the os a lot more then I thought I would. I haven't used it much before in the past and there are a few non intuitive quirks where I wish options were on screen rather than one click deep in a menu... but overall its much richer and more powerful than iphone os while being still very intuitive and cool and not glitchy/open sourcey like I feared. (Yes I know its not really open source). Also the navigation feature combined with things like voice search make me unwilling to even consider going back. God the navigation feature has changed my life. Oh yeah of course I'm a super light app user which helped the transition (I use shazam/yelp/fandango and now advanced task killer and that's pretty much it). But I'm sure the app situation is a deal breaker for many if not most. There are just so many cool built in to the OS features that probably replace apps like this extremely cool battery use view... autocomplete as it should be and not the abomination that the iphone had. As for playing with this phone and playing with droid... well the droid felt like a cheap/plastic toy to me and this phone is frankly the nicest phone I've ever felt. I didn't think it would feel better than my iphone 3g, but yeah it feels much classier and nicer built. I've also never needed a physical keyboard since I've been iphone and now this and the droid's keyboard is kinda shitty... so that doesn't really help the droid for me. Lastly: Can I get an Amen for no more fucking having to go through itunes to move shift music around? This + navigation = massive victory.
  12. It's not bad for an in production dac. Filburt has said the design is pretty solid for the money in comparison to other contenders in that price range. It sounded about as good as a dac1600 to me, but different.
  13. Hrm did you get Craig's take? I know he's gone through a lot of the new production 300Bs with BA customers and I think there were a few strong recs.
  14. γƒγƒΌγƒŠ- Shupoon!! Mm I love this kinda thing, but I'm probably alone in that ;p
  15. Man that's an awesome deal... I'll shop it around.
  16. To recommend to friends how much on the balanced beta22 and future single ended?
  17. I'm in India so I might not have the straight dope, but what I heard was we weren't supposed to discuss for a bit. There already have been some peeps that've caught shit (Possibly fired).
  18. Hrm I'm a little worried about how breathable/hot the treks get with that fancy kangaroo leather.. thoughts?
  19. Interesting.. to Trek or not.. I already have two pairs of KSOs.. Frankly what I need more is more pairs of socks.

Awesome yeah I'll shoot out an email tomorrow morning. I suggest censoring your email to avoid spam web crawlers from harvesting it ;p Too fried to look up flight details but basically I think arrive early morning Saturday and am around all day and then fly out late at night.

Hey I am going in Dubai next next Saturday for 20 hrs (Layover). Sorry to hear about your father.
  22. I like the Aeron and have one at home. I have a steel case at work and its pretty good too and in fact may be more comfortable. The problem with the Steel Case for me is that the build quality doesnt feel nearly as durable as the Aeron. The Aeron feels like itll last me for life (And as I'm a heavy ass mofo ~245 pounds) even after ~3 years it feels as solid as the day I got it. My steel case which I've used for about as long at work feels only slightly better and more durable built than your average office chair and has definitely broken down a bit since I first received it. I am looking at buying the new Herman Miller Embody chair which is their new top of the line office chair... it looks extremely comfortable and even more sturdy than the Aeron chair. I probably will audition it with my hindquarters when I am ready to buy.
